Yai is back in Japan to host a contest featuring dress up chips with Narcy as the winner. However, the contest is for grade school children and his prize is revoked. Narcy then take his revenge.
- 10-Minute Retirement: Narcy decides to quit Neo WWW after winning the contest to make an honest living selling costume designs to Yai's company. By the end, he returns to Neo WWW.
- Adaptation Name Change: Played with. In Battle Network 4, Yamashita Hidenosuke is Narcy's real name. Here, its a fake name he created for the contest so as not to be arrested for joining Neo WWW.
- Assumed Win: Narcy spends all his money on empty chips for his future costume designs, before actually receiving his prize.
- Company Cross References: Video Man's viruses and Narcy's bunny girl designs are shown invading a Street Fighter-esque arcade game and bunny-fy a character with a vague resemblance to Ryu.
- Dragged into Drag: Glide mentions all the dress up chips were tested on him, since they're mostly for girls, Mega Man and Roll shudder at the thought.
- Drowning My Sorrows: After getting disqualified from the contest, Narcy goes to a bar and drink milk.
- Evil Knockoff: Video Man summons three copies of Lan during Cross Fusion. Lan is able to take them out easily and cites the age old "a copy is never as good as the original".
- Hazardous Water: Hazardous for Video Man anyway. The battle ends with Lan knocking Video Man into a pond resulting in him losing all of Narcy's designs and the viruses deleting instantly.
- Never My Fault: Narcy is furious over getting disqualified from the contest. Yai tells him off for not reading the contest rules.
- Roaring Rampage of Revenge: Having his grand prize revoked results in Narcy trying to destroy Yai's company straight into the ground to relive his anger.
- Throw the Dog a Bone: Glide is shown wearing a cool leather jacket and sunglasses after being made to wear the girly costumes.
- Viewer Gender Confusion: When Narcy gets ahead of himself, he imagines himself winning this year's best male actor award. The in-universe subtitles gets confused by the male actor.
