Tropes
- The Bus Came Back: The Sphinx that foretold the prophecy is resurrected by the Necromancer in order to confirm if his new plan with Alyssa will work as intended.
- Contrived Coincidence: The very same day that Raf will die is also, somehow, the same day as a supernova that can be viewed from Earth and in broad day light no less. This allows them to send him to a prison world with his parents where they can live.
- Crazy-Prepared: When Alaric had Mac compelled to forget the supernatural, he put in a command that she would want to aid him in an emergency.
- Depower: It turns out that getting stabbed by the golden arrow killed the phoenix half of Landon and, even though he is alive now, his supernatural powers are gone and he is now a normal human.
- Didn't Think This Through: Too late, Alaric realizes that without the Necromancer's power sustaining them, anyone he brought back from the dead can die once more.
- "Eureka!" Moment: While talking with Hope in preparation for his last party Rafael says that, if he could, he would make his ideal heaven one perfect day with the people he loves on loop. He then also brings up the supernova that can be seen in daylight. This gives Hope the idea to use the Coven Ascendant to create a new prison world for Raf and his parents so he can live out his life in the perfect day he envisioned.
- Exact Words: The Necromancer points out that he followed Alaric's words "to the letter" by severing his connection to those he resurrected...which means that without that power, those he brought back are going to die all over again.
- Hope Spot: The Super Squad finds to modify Clarke's Trident so that they can transfer energy instead of consciousness intending on transferring Landon's phoenix powers to Rafael. Unfortunately the plan fails before it even begins since Landon no longer has his phoenix powers anymore.
- Put on a Bus: This is Rafael's last appearance on Legacies as a main characternote with him and his parents being send to a prison world to keep him alive and to life out his days in peace.
- The Reveal:
- The Necromancer did exactly as he said and severed his link to Raf, Alyssa, and Chad the last of whom has died first due to being dead the longest. His plot for the Malivore pit is revealed as well which is to rewrite the spell so the being will serve him instead of the Triad.
- The Exact Words of the prophecy around Landon is expanded upon: the golden arrow killed the phoenix side of him while leaving his human half intact. Landon is now a vanilla human with no magic and only one life left.
- Serial Escalation: Alyssa tells the Necromancer that his plan to raise Malivore is thinking too small and since his spell is a "sequel" to the original one that created Malivore they should make it bigger and better in kind. Therefore she suggests that they should resurrect Malivore and all of the monsters inside of him so that they can control them all and rule the world.
