- Big "NO!": Roger screams this multiple times when Roger sees on the news that Kenan and Kel are responsible for Ron Harper's injury.
- Disproportionate Retribution: Kenan, Kel, and Chris are all brutalized by the entire city of Chicago because Ron Harper slipped on the orange soda Kel spilled and Kenan neglected to clean up.

- Nice Job Breaking It, Hero: Kenan and Kel for causing Harper's injury. Kel for spilling orange soda, and Kenan for not cleaning it up like Chris said.
- Paper-Thin Disguise: Kenan and Kel impersonate a doctor and pregnant woman. This happens to fool everyone, including Ron Harper himself.
- Pillow Pregnancy: Kel is disguised as a pregnant woman in order for the duo to sneak into the hospital to talk to Ron Harper.Kenan ("Dr. Pepper"): Congratulations, Mrs. Kelly. You've just given birth to a fluffy baby pillow.

Chris: Most of the people out there are the police! - Serious Business: News of Harper's injury cause everyone to condemn the Rockmores, the Kimbles, and Chris.
- Shout-Out: Ron Harper says "What's up, Doc?" when Kenan and Kel visit his hospital room.
- Ungrateful Townsfolk: The city of Chicago are all hostile towards Kenan, Kel, and Chris because of Ron Harper's injury.
