Thanks to the extreme strength and power of Barid Rex, the dreaded Deadmans Base aerial attack was thwarted, and Aguilera and Julio were rescued from the calamity! Later on, Fenix uncovers Lord Giff's Casket lying among the rubble of the base as its taken to their lab for George to study. Aguilera and Julio hide together as she thinks about Lord Giff, while Olteca advances his own ambitions with the help of the Chameleon Deadman! Meanwhile, Sakura argues with her mom over at Happy Spa about the current state of their battle against the Deadmans and whether or not the Libera Driver will still be needed. As they discuss, Hiromi approaches as Ikki and Daiji contemplate the current state of events...

Tropes

  • Cliffhanger: The episode ends with Sakura heading to the Ushijimas' house, only to find that none of them are there. What she does find, however, is something ominously glowing in the basement.
  • Crazy-Prepared: Hiromi gave Yukimi and Genta cameras before they (sans Genta) all went shopping, just in case the Deadmans were to ever attack them.
  • Idiot Ball: A minor example in Julio telling Aguilera to smile while she is in the middle of throwing a tantrum. She throws a bottle his way before running him off.
  • Killed Off for Real: The Chameleon Deadman meets his end by the Igarashi siblings, dissolving just like Kudo and Haitani last episode.
  • My Friends... and Zoidberg: Yukimi cheers her children on wholeheartedly, and as Vice asks her to cheer him on as well she gives him a more muted cheer, seemingly as an afterthought.
  • Out-Gambitted: The Chameleon Deadman tries to get back at the Igarashis by impersonating Yukimi... but it turns out it was a trap laid out by Fenix to entrap him.
  • Properly Paranoid: As it turns out, Hiromi was absolutely on point when he gave Yukimi and Genta cameras in case they were ever attacked by Deadmans. Without that, Chameleon Deadman might have been able to replace Yukimi and stab Ikki in the back (literally).
  • Roaring Rampage of Revenge: Aguilera transforms into the Queen Bee Deadman to kill Ikki for supposedly "destroying" Giff. Julio holds her back from doing any major damage, but her rage is still apparent throughout the episode.
  • Shapeshifter Swan Song: Chameleon Deadman changes into Wakabayashi in Fenix uniform, then black clothes and then returns into his true form before dissolving.
  • Ungrateful Bitch: Aguilera is furious with the Igarashis for apparently killing her beloved Giff...even though she would've been sacrificed to him if they hadn't stopped his revival.
  • The Unreveal: Chameleon Deadman is momentarily forced to return to his original form ... and no one knows who he is anyway.
  • Villainous BSoD: Aguilera does not take Giff's apparent demise well by any means.
  • Wham Shot: A Fenix doctor shows George an MRI scan of Genta's chest, showing that he has no heart.
