Narrator: Previously on… Kamen Rider Gotchard!
Supana Kurogane is the cool and level-headed Super A-class alchemist, even when a vindictive man named Boruto Namarizaki "Gotchanko-es" after him!
Despite Boruto's attempted surprise attacks, Gotchard and Valvarad manage to defeat him as a Malgam!
Houtarou and his friends thus continue their journey to collect all the Chemy Cards.
What Chemy will they meet today...?

While searching for all of the remaining Chemies, the alchemists encounter a young boy named Riku who wants to entrust them with a Chemy called Saboneedle. However, despite the general rule that Chemies cannot be allowed to live with humans, Houtarou has his doubts about whether Riku truly wants to leave Saboneedle behind. This issue is compounded when Riku is targeted by a Malgam. Houtarou must now defend the boy from the monster while getting him to admit his true feelings regarding the Chemy.

Tropes

  • Bad Habits: Lachesis is dressed as a nun as she corrupts an unnamed man into the Dragonfly Malgam.
  • Beat Them at Their Own Game: The Dragonfly Malgam can fly and shoot stingers. Hotaro decides to deal with him by using Saboneedle and Hawkstar to create the Needlehawk form. It works until Saboneedle ejects himself from the Gotchardriver due to fear.
  • Book Dumb: Hotaro decides to help Riku with his homework, only to be puzzled by the advanced geometry questions.
  • Call-Back: Hotaro recalls how the Chemies used in the Gotchard transformations need to add up to 10.
  • Cliffhanger: The episode ends with two.
    • Saboneedle forcibly disengages from Gotchard, causing Houtaro to detransform in midair and send him plummeting to the ground.
    • Rinne is approached by Atropos, who invites her to play.
  • Crazy Enough to Work: Hotaro fishes out Mechaikani, which Renge, Rinne, and Sabimaru dismissed as dumb.
  • Drama-Preserving Handicap: Sabimaru is being called to help out...but his tablet's battery is dead, and he's having a panic attack.
  • "Eureka!" Moment: Hotaro remembering that the Chemies cards need to add up to 10 has him use Saboneedle (4) and Hawkstar (6) to make a new form for him to fight off the Dragonfly Malgam.
  • Not So Above It All: Rinne finds herself overwhelmed with the choices at a cake shop.
  • Oh, Crap!: Hotaro's reactions when Saboneedle leaves Gotchard and he's sent falling to his doom.
  • Pocket Protector: When the Dragonfly Malgam shoots Houtarou, he appears to get hurt. Fortunately, Hopper1 happened to be in his pocket, shielding him from the blow.
  • Two Lines, No Waiting: Or rather, three. After the introductory scenes, Houtarou attempts to bond with Riku over Saboneedle, Renge and Rinne have an impromptu girl's day out, and Sabimaru is left dealing with Supana in the Academy base.
