SpongeBob and Cuddles are devoting their time partaking in activities with each other, racing with rollerskates and a skateboard respectively, having a dance party, and playing baseball. However, during their fun, Lifty and Shifty beat up Cuddles, and many other antagonists pester and torment the local townsfolk.
"Hyper-Activities" provides examples of:
- Accidental Murder: Peter kills Pop by kicking a bowling ball at his head, splattering him.
- Afraid of Blood: A smudge of someone's (presumably Cuddles') blood splats onto her forehead. Knowing Petunia, she does not take kindly to it.
- Asshole Victim: Disco Bear dies yet another death for being a douche as well as a bite from Jerry.
- Bludgeoned to Death: Cub is flattened by Tom when the tomcat slams his head into the small child.
- Cruel and Unusual Death:
- Disco Bear gets his heart removed by The Mole's walking stick.
- Kirby is sucked into a straw and slurped up by Patrick.
- Petunia is burned to death after Fliqpy pours gasoline into a pond and tosses a lit match into it.
- A Poppy Brother is blown to pieces by his own bomb.
- Flaky gets the upper part of her head ripped off by a Cappy.
- Cool Board: Cuddles rides a skateboard in this episode, which is the same one in Sweet Ride.
- Cut A Way: Apparently, Peter auditioned to be a SpongeBob mascot for Nickelodeon. Cuddles proceeds to knock down Peter with the tip of a stick during the cut-a-way.
- Eat My Dust: An implied gesture by Cuddles.
- Furniture Blockade: SpongeBob does this after entering Flaky's house.
- I'm a Humanitarian: Patrick literally drinks Kirby alive with a straw.
- Inane Blabbering: SpongeBob can barely process the sight of Lifty and Shifty overpowering Cuddles, and babbles at Giggles before yelling at the top of his lungs in distress.
- Jaw Drop: Marge's reaction to the bloody mess around SpongeBob's house. SpongeBob also makes one after he witnesses Lifty and Shifty attacking Cuddles.
- New Job as the Plot Demands: Kirby is both a soccer player and a mailman in this episode.
- Sickeningly Sweethearts: Handy and Petunia's relationship provides awkwardness for SpongeBob and Cuddles, when Petunia kisses Handy, causing the latter to blush and stumble clumsily.
- Ship Tease: All three beloved Happy Tree Friends couples: Cuddles x Giggles, Petunia x Handy, and Flippy x Flaky.
- Squashed Flat: Cub's death.
- Stripped to the Bone: Petunia's head is burnt into nothing more than a skull after taking a dip into a pond that has been set ablaze by Fliqpy.
- They Killed Kenny Again: Handy, Squidward, Cub, Kirby, Lumpy, Pop, Tom, Disco Bear, Petunia, Poppy Bros. Jr., Flaky, and Mr. Krabs die.
- Throw the Dog a Bone: SpongeBob, Cuddles, Giggles, Kennynote , Lifty, Shifty, Fliqpy, Patrick, The Mole, Dedede, Randy, and Sheila survives.
- Took a Level in Jerkass: Tom always has been an example of Cats Are Mean, but seeing how he Would Hurt a Child just to kill Jerry is a new low.
