Disco Bear tries to impress Giggles and Petunia at a gym, but when he reaches down to touch his toes, he breaks his back so badly that his spine is exposed.
"Put Your Back Into It" contains the following:
- Accidental Murder: Russell accidentally decapitates Disco Bear's head.
- A Day In The Lime Light: Disco Bear's first starring role since "Easy Comb, Easy Go" which was seven years ago. Frankly, this is the rare episode that is Disco Bear-centric at all.
- *Crack!* "Oh, My Back!": Moments after Disco Bear touches his toes.
- Downer Ending: Russell accidentally kills Disco Bear thinking that he's a fish and eats his cut off head along with Giggles without realizing that it's him.
- Eye Scream: Disco Bear's right eye bulges out when he tries to stretch further. And it's nothing compared to what happens next.
- Idiot Ball:
- Russell for the second time this season. While fishing, he ends up catching Disco Bear's spine.
- Giggles and Petunia barely even notice that Disco Bear broke his back (Either that or they just don't care).
- Russel and Giggles somehow mistake Disco Bear's severed head for a fish.
- Disco Bear going out to the beach instead of resting his injuries.
- Limited Sound Effects: Giggles's "Yummy, yummy, yummy!" is directly sampled from Eyes Cold Lemonade. Given how Giggles's voice suddenly dramatically rises in pitch, it becomes obvious that the line was reused.
- Overly Long Gag: Disco Bear screams in pain while he does his daily tasks such as cooking and showering. He even continues his scream after waking up from his sleep.
- Overly Long Scream: His screaming after he breaks his back is nonstop, except when he goes to bed.
- Stock Femur Bone: One is thrown in front of Disco Bear, and the dog mistakes his spine as the bone thrown.
- They Killed Kenny Again: Disco Bear dies in this episode.
- Trauma Conga Line: Disco Bear breaks his back, endures the pain for the entire day, then has his leg gnawed by a dog, and finally has his spine and head ripped off unintentionally by Russell.
- Throw the Dog a Bone: Russell, Petunia, and Giggles survive this episode.
