Cell is on the loose, terrorizing an airport, and has eliminated all but two people there when Krillin shows up to save them and challenge Cell.
Episode Tropes:
- Adaptational Alternate Ending: While Krillin's encounter with Cell is treated as a dream sequence, he actually faces him in the original series.
- All Just a Dream: The whole episode, until Piccolo wakes Krillin up.
- Facial Composite Failure: The news broadcast drops a composite sketch of what the authorities think Cell might look like. It's just a mashup of a bunch of slasher movie villains (choice attributes include a hockey mask, nails poking out of the head, and a bladed glove). Cell immediately curses the 24-hour news cycle forcing the network to come up with something to show even if it's obviously nonsense.
- Forgot About His Powers: Krillin uses a Solar Flare to blind Cell and escape with the mother and her child. He then realizes that he, once again, forgot to use the Kienzan to finish him off.Krillin: Wait, that's not my ultimate attack. I thought the Kienza— Aw, goddamn it! Every time!
- Halloween Episode: Features more of a horror movie theme, up until Krillin shows up, plus the Shout Outs. Also, while it was posted to Youtube on November 3, it debuted at Youmacon on October 31.
- Shout-Out: The news broadcaster refers to several horror movie titles while describing Cell's rampage.George: It is a regular Invasion of the Body Snatchers down here! In this Land of the Dead, who knows what Psycho is causing this massacre? From dusk till dawn, from Crystal Lake to Elm Street, nobody is being left behind! If this hellraiser slithers into your town, we suggest you run like hell, find a cabin in the woods, and if anyone comes knocking, make sure you Let the Right One In! Or you'll be dead by dawn.
- Synchronous Episodes: Turns out to be occurring during episode 45.
