Candy comes back to Kongo Jungle and is reunited with DK after a long time... However, Candy's arrival is far from being a pleasant surprise to DK's friends.

- Being single is much better than being stuck with a person who is only using you. You'll eventually find someone who actually appreciates you.
- It's okay to give people a chance, but be careful because not everyone has good intentions.
- Affectionate Nickname: Candy calls DK "sweet prince". Unlike most examples however, this isn't to emphazise how lovely Candy is.
- Bad People Abuse Animals: Candy is a psychological abuser who treats her pet blittys horribly. The poor things even seem to be scared of her.
- Bitch in Sheep's Clothing: Candy pretends being nice, but will talk about those she secretly dislikes behind their backs. DK's friends immediately pick up on her facade, DK... not so much.
- Disproportionate Retribution:
- Candy originally had broke up with DK because she had a dream in which he cheated on her.
- During a school dance back when K. Rool was younger, a girl beat him up and her friends poured wine all over him and then threw him out of the hall just because he touched her shoulder.
- Drowning My Sorrows: DK on Funky's bar after learning that Candy was cheating on him. Funky even allows him to drink for free given how sad he is.
- It's All My Fault: After Diddy exposes Candy, DK blames himself for her actions as a result of not being there for her when she needed it the most.
- Evil Redhead: Candy, who is a complete bitch.
- Gold Digger: Dixie speculates that Candy had gotten back with DK because of her "empty wallet".
- Giver of Lame Names: Candy calls herself "the baddest female". Everyone else just thinks it sounds pathetic and Katryna in particular finds it to be really annoying. She then names her pet blittys "DK Jr." and "Diddy Jr." ("Krusha Jr." and "Klump Jr." by the end of the episode), which cause just as many eyerolls.
- Manipulative Bitch: Candy manipulates DK into convincing K. Rool into giving her a promotion, allowing her and her pet blittys to move-in with him, and almost makes him lose his friends and his job. It's a good thing Diddy exposed Candy for who she really is.
- Really Gets Around: K. Rool had to move Tiny from the office in the warehouse because she would use the computer to go on Tinder.
- Rousing Speech: K. Rool tells DK to stop feeling sorry about Candy because 1) it is obvious that she does not give a crap about him, and 2) DK is a decent guy and there are plenty of fish in the sea.
- Sitcom Arch-Nemesis: Kiddy and Candy.
- Small Name, Big Ego: Candy big time, to the point in which she is proud of having dropped out of college (to which Kiddy speculates that she actually got expelled), thinks she can become a heart-surgeon without any prior knowledge or years of preparation, and is always calling herself "the baddest female".
- Super Gullible: DK, being who he is, is willing to believe everything Candy says and fails to see that she is only using him.
- Take That!: Candy's personality is based off a girl one of FreezeFlame22's friends had a bad experience with.
