Craig returns to the Creek after winter break to find not only is his friendship with Kelsey and J.P. strained, but King Xavier is planning an attack.

  • Attack Pattern Alpha: Tired of the siege taking so long, Xavier orders his champions to pull off a Combination Attack. It involves the Blur whipping up a giant snowball that the Arm controls the Squashinator into throwing with precision using extendable control levers from her shoulders.
  • Big "NO!": Craig lets out one of these after the Green Poncho is wiped out from the Champion's Combination Attack. Though he drops it to a Little "No" after Omar notes his scream is hurting his ears.
  • Foreshadowing: Early on, The Green Poncho notices that Maya isn't with Xavier during the attack. At the very end of the episode, we see she's been staked out at the Trading Tree gathering intel. Then Maya tells the King she has an idea on how to take over the Creek, while listening to Kit talking to her grandma in restocking supplies in favor of getting good grades...
  • The Heart: It's shown in this episode that Craig is a big reason J.P. and Kelsey can be friends with each other, because he suggests a compromise between them when they want to do different things. J.P. is also willing to mediate between Craig and Kelsey when they're both intractable about their argument.
  • Heartfelt Apology: Craig and Kelsey apologize to each other after the Green Poncho was down, and they, along with J.P., have a group hug.
  • Instant Ice: Just Add Cold!: Kit has a squirt gun that's basically a freeze ray because of how cold it is.
  • Irony: While the Stump Trio decided to use snowmen in order to lead a Scarecrow Solution against Xavier, at the end of the episode, it turns out they weren't the only ones who were using a snowman-based tactic, as Maya was hiding in a snowman in order to spy on Kit, getting a lock on how the trader gets her restocks.
  • Leaning on the Fourth Wall: Craig tries to use "dirtbag," which somehow gained popularity around the Creek while he was gone. J.P. tells him his usage is "so 22 minutes ago" (referencing the length of the episode).
  • No Longer with Us: Kelsey says that Mortimor is "no longer with us. He stayed home, because of the weather."
  • Plot-Mandated Friendship Failure: The Stump Kids have a falling-out due to Craig neglecting them over winter break.
  • Scarecrow Solution: Because they can't overcome Xavier's forces, the Green Poncho and the gang work out how to scare them off by using a row of snowmen to pretend all the kids from their side are back. Then they empty a net of snowballs on top of them to complete the guise of return fire to force a retreat.
  • Skyward Scream: Craig does a Big "NO!" holding the Green Poncho after he seemingly dies in his arms, only to be interrupted by him because he's still alive and Craig is screaming right next to him. Craig apologizes and continues in a hushed tone.
  • Tell Him I'm Not Speaking to Him: Craig and Kelsey start doing this against each other in the midst of their feud, with J.P. as their messenger. Eventually, J.P. gets so worked up that he starts doing this to himself.
  • Wham Shot: Maya was hiding out by the Trading Tree and reports back to Xavier that she's found a way they can take over that side of the Creek.
  • Wild Child: Kelsey has decided to act feral over winter break because she's been isolated from the other kids visiting her great uncle, and after coming back to the Creek had a falling out with J.P. after being neglected by Craig.
