Nightmare Fuel / Into the Storm (2014)

• The opening scene. What was meant to be a hangout between friends is interrupted as a tornado inches closer to them. Even worse, it's night, and the tornado blends in the horizon, and the friends didn't notice it until it was too late. The van gets picked up, and dropped, and the only sound we hear is the car alarm, nothing else.
• The tornado that strikes the school during graduation, complete with shots of students being dragged away by the storm.
  • Concurrently, the same storm strikes the abandoned mill Donnie and Kaitlyn are in, leveling it and trapping them in a flooding hole.
• Jacob's death by firenado. He tries to get the valuable tornado footage, but is persuaded to start going inside when the main characters turn and see another tornado going right by them. As he starts to run inside without the footage that had by then been sucked up, the tornado (which had picked up some burning fuel) knocks him flat, and as he screams for help and cries in terror, he is sucked up. And then we see him burned alive and then his lifeless corpse. The other characters are appropriately horrified.
• Donnie nearly dies by drowning once he becomes trapped underwater in the flooded building. Although Gary manages to revive him through CPR, it seemed as if he wouldn't make it.
• The EF5. Especially considering that it's the biggest tornado seen in history.
  • The tornado making its way towards the high school. Had the team not arrived to warn everyone, everyone at graduation would've died.
  • The team being trapped in the storm drain as they struggle to withstand the storm.
  • Pete's death. He's thrown thousands of feet into the air by the storm while inside the Titus, exits the cloud bank to a heavenly view of the sun, then plunged thousands of feet to the ground.
