11 Acorn Lane is an Electro Swing band that consists of Thomas Feurer and Neal Pawley who are known primarily for their whimsically upbeat lyrics and catchy tunes. The group blends several different styles such as jazz and electronica in order to create a unique and often uplifting sound that sets them apart from other Electro Swing groups. To date, the group has released several albums and enjoyed a modest amount of success over their long career.

  • Art Deco: A lot of their artwork seems heavily influenced by this style, which shouldn't be too surprising considering what genre they're in.
  • Electro Swing: They tend to focus primarily on combing the softer jazz and swing style of the past with more energetic music from the modern era to create a catchy hybrid of the two.
  • Lyrical Dissonance: The song You Make Me Happy at first sounds like an upbeat song directed at a friend or lover. Then you see the official video with the dancing cartoon pills in the background and realize that the lyrics also strongly resemble a slow decent into drug addition.
It's no fun without you! The more I have you the more I want you...
  • Silly Love Songs: They have several of these, though at least a few are implied to be about much darker subject matter than they first appear. (See Lyrical Dissonance above.)
