Humans and humanoid Muppets
Miss Nanny is a human, so her skin doesn't have the felt texture applied on the Muppet characters. However, Baby Chef, also a human, does. It might be because he's also classified as a Muppet, but recall that the adult Swedish Chef is usually performed with live human hands. Then there’s Statler and Waldorf, who are classified as Muppets, but don’t seem to have this texture. All this to say; what are the rules for who's a human, who's a Muppet, and who's both?
The Electric Mayhem
If Animal's a baby, are the other members of the Electric Mayhem babies too, or are they adults? Dr. Teeth appears as an adult in a Season 1 episode, and Animal identifies him as being part of his favourite band. However, this occurs within an Imagine Spot, and we later see a poster of the band as kids in the playroom. No other Muppet appears as an adult in the series (Statler and Waldorf notwithstanding), so was adult Dr. Teeth real or part of the fantasy? But then Jill appears to have a doll that is clearly modeled after adult Janice, and The Muppets Mayhem shows that Animal is significantly younger than Floyd (and likely the other EM members as well). Further complicating things: if the Electric Mayhem are adults, then they should know Lips, but Lips is nowhere to be seen, as a baby or an adult. In summary: how old are the Electric Mayhem in this series?
