Funny / Heavy is Dead

• Heavy, despite his death being the focus of the video, simply can't stay dead despite other people reminding him that he should be dead... to the point where he's the only person left alive at the end.
• The Engineer is the only BLU merc when the Heavy is RED. invokedNot one person seems to notice, let alone put two-and-two together.
• The Running Gag of people repeatedly confirming that the Heavy is indeed dead and still acting shocked no matter how many times it is said... except when Scout says it.
• The myriad of Funny Background Events, like two BLU Demomen selling Sniper's van for stacks of money, a small group of tiny desk Engineers dancing in the grass, or the tiny "F" sign in the background when Spy prepares to hang himself.
• Engineer using a telescope as a scope for his gun.
• "I will find him. I will capture him. And no one will ever die again!" Spy only succeeds with only one of these.
• Soldier's introduction, which involves the entire cast recreating the Death of Seneca painting by Manuel Domínguez Sánchez... except Soldier himself, who is animated via floppy ragdoll physics.
• Scout being The Friend Nobody Likes.
  • Taken further in some remixes where as soon as Scout shows up, the gimmick comes to a grinding halt as if it can't stand Scout, only to resume as soon he's dead.
• Medic's introduction, where he runs Soldier over and kisses Heavy on the forehead. Heavy then starts ascending to the sky... only to explode into gibs.
• Demoman "confessing" to killing Heavy as a joke, killing Sniper in the process. And then accidentally making Engie confess to the murder with another joke. And then he drops dead from alcohol poisoning.
• Once the whole incident is resolved, Spy is so exasperated by its idiocy that he decides to hang himself... by doing an awesome backflip off a chair while the noose is around his neck.
• The end. "I am alive! Is nice. Yes, this is stupid."
  • And how did Heavy manage to revive himself? Quite simple: He simply pulled the classic "NO U!" on the Engineer out of absolutely nowhere and shot him dead with his finger.
• There is a "family-friendly edition" of the video created specifically for the original voice actors to react to and dub over, and it manages to be just as funny. Some examples:
  • Engineer announces his intent to kill Heavy and shoots, only to miss. Heavy still goes along with it and drops dead anyway.
  • When Engineer and Sniper are applauding Spy's plans to bring Heavy's killer to justice, Heavy's blood-stained corpse is swapped out for his head placed on a skeleton. Which is holding a Sandvich in one of its hands.
  • Medic's Kiss of Life is thwarted by a street light shorting out and abruptly falling on Heavy mid-resurrection.
  • Demoman chucks his revolver at Sniper (preceded by him seemingly ready to shoot before charging his throw) and knocks him out cold, complete with circling stars.
  • When Heavy does a "No, You" on Engineer and kills him with his finger gun, Engineer falls over, stiff as a board, with arms crossed and holding a rose. He then turns into his grave.
  • When Spy attempts to hang himself, the YouTube logo cuts the rope. A dazed Spy gets up and looks around, only for a train to derail and randomly run over him.
