- Comments: Mostly focused on the tangled romantic lives of the various characters, this is a creative, well-written medieval AU, with an author who really knows her stuff when it comes to court life in Tudor England. Alas, only five chapters have been posted, and the fic hasn't been updated for years, so it seems that the many dangling plot threads may never be resolved. It does have quite a few semi-explicit sex scenes, so be warned.

- Comments: A story where Naruto and Gaara are soul mates despite being from different villages and one being a homicidal maniac. It starts as a simple retelling of the Chuunin exam arc emphasising the characterisation of both boys, but moves on to a For Want of A Nail AU where Gaara works to be worthy of Naruto's unfailing love and they struggle to be together in their situation. The way soulmates work in the ninja world, the benifts and dangers are worked in really well- it's no cheep gimmic but a core part of the world. If soul mate A Us aren't normally your thing this is a good place to try- everyone remains in character and the world works consistantly throughout. I normally dislike soulmate AUs but this is wonderful.

As said from the synopsis, Sasuke is a gymnast with a narcissistic attitude who likes to piss sakura which happen to be his newly hired makeup artist. This is a refreshing read for me as i've never encountered a story with such concept before. The characterization were well portrayed along with very detailed description of scenes that you read. Give it a try, The updates are also quick so you won't have to have your eyes go white with the waiting.

Emotions and setting are very well incorporated into the mood of the story. It takes the author a few chapters to truly hit her stride, mostly in regards to pacing, but it's very well structured. The story is confirmed as following canon as closely as possible, working to incorporate original ideas where appropriate without refuting canon. — AwayLaughing
- It's the first part of a series, and both this story and the rest of the series are complete. Very long, but well-paced, action-packed, no bashing of anyone, and the characters and their relationships with their teammates are well depicted and in canon. The original characters are necessary, interesting, and well-developed. The themes turn really dark at times, so heed the warnings if triggers are something you need to take into account. The dark parts are very respectfully portrayed, though. All in all, a masterful series. — Mycomp

- Synopsis: He was just an orphaned teen, an abandoned child of war. Nothing new to rogue soldier, Kakuzu. So why does he feel the need to keep him at his side? AU.
- Comments: This story is magnificent in the developing of Kakuzu's and Hidan's relationship. They - like all relationships - have their ups and downs and disagreements while staying by each other's sides. And they're also kept in character! Not to mention that instead of a full 69 years of age difference between them, there's only about 15!

- Notes: Easily one of the best Naruto fics I've read. The author keeps with the canon of the time of her writing (2011-2012 if you were wondering) and hits characterization and character development spot-on. The Uchiha children in this fic are the best-written out of any fic I've read, and each child just grows on you. Its premise, events, and characters are those that can rival the canon in my opinion. The style of How I Met Your Mother was gracefully and fittingly used. Aside from a few grammar mistakes and a bit of a dragged-out middle part, this fic is extremely excellent.

A series of moments depicting the evolution of their relationship, from acquaintances to friends to something more, all by crossing that metaphorical line created when a boy and a girl forge a bond.
- Comments: An extremely well written fanfic about what would've happened if Ino had decided to prematurely test her Shintenshin jutsu on Naruto before mastering it back in their Academy days, and how it would change the entire series as a result of this one small act. The pacing of their relationship is incredibly natural and fantastically well-done, and the characterization is spot on. Highly recommended.

- Synopsis: Naruto is given a scroll containing the secrets of making women fall for him, a scroll he uses at first on the women around him but soon on the shinobi world as a whole, giving birth to the Eroninja.
- Comments: Let's get this out of the way: This fic is 50% harem and 50% story. The first quarter of the story contain the expected lemons as Naruto gets paired with virtually every named female in the series (as well as numerous other series, though they are woven into the story and are a part of the Naruto universe rather than it being a direct crossover). After around chapter 19 or so, the lemons slow down a tad and the story picks up around the start of Shipudden, with the various women in Naruto's family having a major impact in the story. That itself is this troper's favorite aspect of the story: The women aren't simply there for the harem; they play a massive part of the story and get massive screen-time (sometimes more than Naruto himself). Minor (female) characters are spared and are given immeasurable depth, and Heel–Face Turn are aplenty. The story is over 1 million words long, Trope Overdosed (it can be found already as an example in a number of pages on TV Tropes) and is divided into arcs. The writing style and characterization -especially Naruto as he becomes more experienced- may not be for everyone, but it is quite the ride if you're willing to stick around. This troper actually prefers this over to what Shippuden turned into.
