Owl Wars is a crossover between The Owl House and Star Wars, written by Interspark.

In this universe, Luz is a Force Adept missed by the Jedi as a child and rejected when she sought them out as a teen. But despite that rejection, Luz is still strong in the Force and will not stop until she can master it using powerful glyphs. All while traveling the Galaxy with her mentor, former Jedi Eda Cawthorne, and crushing on the Padawan of Eda's sister Lilith, one Amity Blight.

Owl Wars: The Prequel Trilogy is a prequel/sequel released later, dealing with the backstory of Eda and Lilith in this universe.

  • Adaptational Badass: Luz is a Force-Sensitive who the Jedi missed, giving her a level of inherent power she never gained in canon. Sadly, she lacks much formal training with the Force besides her glyphs.
  • An Arm and a Leg: In this universe Lilith lost control during a training exercise and cut off Eda's arm when they were both Padawans.
  • Fusion Fic: In addition to the Owl House characters becoming natives of the Galaxy, the glyphs also exist as an alternative way to use the Force.
  • Has a Type: Luz likes conflicted guys/girls with a Dark and Troubled Past, and both she and Eda know it.
  • Missed the Call: Luz is Force-Sensitive and would love to be a Jedi. Unfortunately, the Jedi never found her as a child, and by the time she discovered her powers on her own, she was too old for any Jedi she asked to take her on.
  • Post-Modern Magik: When busting Eda out of the Jedi Temple's holding cells, Luz has the utility droid BD-11 project an image of a Force Push glyph, which she then triggers to push Amity into a wall and knock her out.
  • Purple Is Powerful: Eda's lightsaber is a brilliant purple in color.
  • Refuge in Audacity: Luz's plan to break Eda out of the Temple has her admit to Amity that she's planning to bust Eda out to get the Padawan to agree to go on a "date" with her in order to find out the plan. Then, she tells Amity the plan as a distraction while BD-11 reprograms the Temple's cleaning droids to create a giant lightning glyph, which she activates right as she reaches the climax of the conversation to knock everyone in the Temple but Amity out (since Amity is wearing boots with rubber soles).
  • Shock and Awe: The first glyph we see Luz using is a lightning one, which she learns from an ancient temple.
  • Take Me Instead: When the two of them are captured by Lilith and Amity in a library, Eda bargains for Luz's freedom by saying that it's the only way that she'll let the Master and Padawan get her to their ship.
  • Troll: When returning the idol to the Jedi temple, Eda pretends that she's delivering shampoo. To Mace Windu, who's completely bald. "The Prequel Trilogy" reveals that this is far from the first time that she's done this.
