- Deus ex Machina: Cure Whip is this in the context of Ex-Aid, as she has no connection to CR or Genm Corp.
- Excuse Plot: There’s nothing complex or deep here. It’s literally Exactly What It Says on the Tin. Even gets a lampshade in the liner notes.Why? Because 1) fuck you and 2) I want to see a middle schooler kick a grown man's ass. And also 3) it's 1 am and no one else is gonna write this shit
- Minimalist Cast: Aside from the titular characters, Emu Hojo is he only character in this fic.
- No-Sell: Whip is immune to Chronos’ Time Master powers. Rule of Funny probably applies.
- Rouge Angles of Satin: Subverted. Although the fic wasn’t proofread prior to posting, the story doesn’t suffer from any notable errors.
- Spell My Name With An S: Masamune’s rider identity is spelt as “Chronos”, as opposed to the more popularly used “Cronus”. Ride-Player also gets parsed as “RidePlayer”.
- Underestimating Badassery: Chronos doesn’t particularly think that Cure Whip can beat him. He turns out to be wrong.
