Carol's Youthful Gluttonous Gassy Glowup is a South Park fanfiction written with the entire purpose of making Carol McCormick more attractive in the author's own twisted way. It centers around Carol feeling like her so-called old age has made her lose her energy and that she wants to become young again. After drinking water from the Fountain of Youth, she reverts back to the age of 25 and after going overboard celebrating it, becomes something much more unbearable to her family and the rest of the town.
This fanfic contains examples of:
- A Day in the Limelight: For Carol McCormick, who although was a recurring character from season 1, never got much of a prominence compared to most of the other parents.
- Author Appeal: The whole point of the story is to make Carol appeal more to the author and his target audience's tastes. Namely making her slightly younger, obese, and an un-caring Gasshole.
- Big Eater: Right after regaining her youth, Carol develops a frequent craving for fried chicken and other junk food.
- Character Exaggeration: While Carol is already sloppy and short-tempered in the show, she takes it to new levels in the story, being just as cranky and abrasive towards the other residents as she is towards her husband and abandoning any form of table manners or decency.
- Continuity Nod: Multiple examples.
- The water from the Fountain of Youth is stolen from The Adventure Club, and both Stuart and Mr. Kim get it confused with the other club.
- Carol hires Mr. Kim's City Ninja Service to retrieve the water for her.
- The way Carol fools Mr. Kim and his exact response mirror his deal with Kyle in It's Christmas in Canada.
- Carol distracts Cartman and eats the skin off his chicken wings while he isn't looking, and when he comes back, he yells no one pulls the trick but him. Kyle calls him out on this.
- When she's arrested, Carol yells out Randy's exact words from The Losing Edge.
- Fat Bastard: Carol manages to even overthrow Cartman who only appears in a few scenes.
- Gasshole: Carol becomes a very straightforward example.
- They Killed Kenny Again: Subverted. A sharp bottle nearly lands on Kenny and he vomits after smelling one of his mom's farts, but he never actually dies.
