This drinking game is also best known for its version involving an all-AI game where you drink based on the computer's actions.

General
- At the end of a board, drink your position. The winner takes one drink, second place takes two, etc.
Take a shot when:
- You land on a Red Space.
- You land on a Happening Space that negatively affects you, such as moving you away from the star.
- The AI does something laughable or cunning.
- You get an unfavorable dice roll.
- Two if you get one after using an item that makes rolling specific numbers easier.
- Someone other than you finds a hidden block.
- Make it a drink if that hidden block contains a star.
- You lose a 1 vs. 3 minigame on the team of 3.
- You miss on an Item minigame.
Drink when:
- The AI cheats.
- Someone steals a star away from you.
- You land on a Bowser Space.
- Drink again if you lose the Bowser minigame.
- If Bowser Revolution* is selected, drink depending on how many coins you lose.
- If Bowser Shuffle* is selected, drink depending on how bad your new position is.
- You end a coin-collecting minigame with no coins.
- The first star of the game is in a hard-to-reach location.
- You lose a 1 vs. 3 minigame as the solo player.
Mario Party 1
Take a shot when:
- Your hand hurts after a control stick-spinning minigame.
Drink when:
- You lose a singleplayer minigame.
Mario Party 2
Drink when:
- Someone gets a Bowser Bomb.
- Drink again if Bowser passes you (and thus steals all of your coins) during his turn.
Mario Party 3
Take a shot when:
- You lose money during a Game Guy minigame.
- On an Item Space:
- Toad or Koopa Kid does not give you an item.
- Koopa Kid fills up your item inventory with an undesired item, such as with three Skeleton Keys.
Drink when:
- Koopa Kid announces the last 5 turns to determine the loser.
- Finish your drink if Bowser picks you and makes you lose 10 coins.
Mario Party 4
Drink when:
- In Goomba's Greedy Gala, you go to a quadrant you didn't want to.
Mario Party 5
Finish your drink when:
- The last 5 turns event is "all Red Spaces become Bowser Spaces".
- Someone gathers three Miracle Capsules* .
Mario Party Advance
Take a shot when:
- You fail a minigame.
- Take two if it was a Bowser, Gamble, or Duel minigame.
- You land on a Minus Space and lose a turn.
- You choose the very scary monster in the Bowser Lab quest, which forces you to restart the quest.
Take a sip when:
- Koopa Kid abruptly appears in Shroom City.
- If he plays a rock-paper-scissors game against you and you lose, drink.
- If he uses a lava warp, take a shot.
- Lose within attacks 1-5 on Minigame Attack or rounds 1-3 on Duel Dash.
Take a drink when:
- You fail a quest and have to restart it from the beginning.
- Finish your drink if the quest was a mystery solving quest or the Bestest Buds quest.
- You go to a location that does absolutely no action when you enter it.
- Let the UFO escape on the Hey UFO! quest.
- Lose a minigame within only 5 seconds of starting due to a Guide Dang It! moment.
- Lose within attacks 6-10 on Minigame Attack or rounds 3-5 on Duel Rush.
Finish your drink when:
- You run out of mushrooms in Shroom City.
- Lose within attacks 11-15 on Minigame Attack or rounds 6-7 on Duel Rush.
- Get kicked out of Bowser Land due to Bowser saying you took too long.
