Yomu Mishima (三嶋与夢) is a Japanese fantasy novelist, best known for penning the Light Novel series Trapped in a Dating Sim: The World of Otome Games is Tough for Mobs, though he actually debuted with Seventh several years earlier.
Little is publicly known about him other than that he's a Promoted Fanboy, especially of visual novels. He has wide-ranging tastes, including being part of the Periphery Demographic for the otome genre, which inspired Trapped in a Dating Sim. Like many authors of the Light Novel explosion of The New '10s, he got his start writing web serial novels on the story hosting website Shousetsuka ni Narou, from whence he was contacted by publishers.

Other works
- Dragoon
- A Modern Fantasy! The Weakest Fighter in the World Aims for the Peak!
Associated Tropes:
- Abusive Parents: A recurring theme in his works are flawed parents who play favorites and neglect or outright abandon their children.
- Buxom Beauty Standard: His works (and associated illustrations) feature well-endowed ladies.
- Everyone Loves Blondes: Likes having beautiful blonde women on the heroic side who are also potential Love Interests. Kurt from Evil Lord is a male example.
- Heroic Fantasy: Each of his stories takes place in feudal societies, with associated screwed-up nobles and political intrigue.
- Little Sister Heroine: Mishima has a noted hatred for little sister characters, with Ceres from Seventh and Marie and Lelia from Trapped in a Dating Sim being antagonists as a Take That! to the trope's use in visual novels (though Marie pulled a Heel–Face Turn later). Amusingly, Marie is one of his more popular characters, such that readers voted for her to get a Spin-Off where this is Played Straight.
