Kamoda Kei

A second-year student and the captain of Mihashi Stride Club. He wants to win since it was his brother, Kamoda Yu,'s last summer. He also is the secret true relationer of the team.

• Sibling Yin-Yang: Kei is much more hotblooded and the captain and main runner of the team, despite being the younger brother. Yu, however, is much more laid-back and serene, and acts as the relationer of the team. They also don't look too similar, with Kei being black-haired and Yu being blond.

Kamoda Yu

A third-year student and the relationer of Mihashi Stride Club, though in name only. He mainly bluffs and calls out false sets.

• Red Herring: Before the match, Yu from Mihashi says he is just a figurehead. He means it. He is just a decoy. The person who gives the actual command when should the next runner starts is Kei, giving commands from his watch.
