The Greenskins

    Gurzag the Hoarder
  • Big Bad Wannabe: Gurzag has big ambitions of becoming the most powerful Warboss of all the Orks. He hopes that his pillaging of Kanrilla will help propel his legend and draw more Orks to his cause, eventually overthrowing Ghazghkull Thraka, himself.
  • The Collector: He likes to collect trophies from enemies that he has personally killed including but not limited to an Eldar soul gem, the skull of a Tyrannid hive tyrant, several armor pieces from various space marines he's killed, etc. When he learns about Ruby, he plans to add Crescent Rose to his collection after he kills her.
  • Determinator: Even after the Mega-Gargant is destroyed and nearly half of his body is shredded, he's still driven to keep fighting and kill Ruby. It takes getting decapitated by a Greater Daemon to finally put an end to his rampage.
  • Large and in Charge: As with Ork tradition, he is the biggest Ork in his WAAAGH! Ergo, he is the Warboss.

The Necrons

    Trazyn the Infinite
  • The Collector: He has a menagerie that covers an entire planet filled with all sorts of artifacts, people, and even moments. Now, he's even added Weiss to his collection.
  • Villain Takes an Interest: He already found Weiss fascinating when he saw her abilities for himself; however, his interest is truly piqued when one of his Crypteks inform him that Weiss isn't even from their universe.

The Tau Empire

     Por'el Fe'saan Adibh
  • Big Damn Heroes: Arrives to offer aid to Blake's forces when they are at their most desperate hour.

The Aeldari

     Laaradran
  • Dance Battler: While in the Black Library, Cegorach, via Laaradran, observes events across the galaxy by interpreting them via an elaborate dance.
  • Monster Clown: Is a member of the Harlequins.
  • People Puppets: The Laughing God, Cegorach, observes recent events, such as Ruby using the Silver Eyes to wipe out and entire deamon horde, by using Laaradran as his vessel.

The Drukhari

     K’shaic
  • Berserk Button: The very mention of Vect is enough to make his smug, arrogant facade crack and nearly set him off.
  • Even Evil Has Standards: Subverted in this case. K'shaic refuses to have Yang fight against Lelith Hesperax, Vect's champion, because he knows she will kill her. It's not because he has any moral reservations or that he cares about Yang, but he doesn't want to give Vect the pleasure of breaking his new favorite "toy."
  • Evil Is Petty: Used and sacrificed one of his own Kabalites as a Trojan Horse to spring a trap against an Imperial Inquisitor, turned the Inquisitor's interrogator into living ink using her body parts to send a message, and abducted said Inquisitor to an unknown fate all because the Inquisitor ruined his cloak with a stray plasma shot.
  • I Have Your Sister: Claims to have Ruby in his custody in order to coerce Yang to fight in the gladiator pits. Subverted in that what he has is not in fact Ruby but a random slave-girl that was made to resemble Ruby via Drukhari alchemy, using a mental image that was extracted from Yang during her torture sessions.
  • Kick the Dog: He offers Yang a deal that if she manages to win ten fights in a row, he will set her and her "sister" free. However, he has no intention of freeing her and anytime she gets close to her tenth victory, he sets her up in an unwinnable fight where she is forced to start over and he relishes in her despair each time.
  • Sadist: By his nature as a Drukhari, K'shaic literally feeds off of the suffering of others.

The Leagues of Votann

     Ynnôk
  • Commonality Connection: One of the things that he and Blake have in common is that they both were separated from their comrades. In Ynnôk's case, he became stranded on Doromoros after a series of Warp storms separated him from his kin.
  • Cool Old Guy: Is described as an old-looking man with a white beard and a bald head. He's also a pioneer and explorer that found his way into Imperium territory and is one of Blake's closest allies.
  • Honest Advisor: Acts as this to Blake, he gives her advice and helps her to understand how things work in the Imperium, and he also doesn't put her on a pedestal like the others nor does he sugarcoat things.
