- When Dre wants to stop the training, Mr. Han shows him that he does learn kung fu simply by taking his jacket on and off countless times.
- After Mr. Han tells Dre about his wife and son, there's this amazing silent piece where Dre uses the bamboo shoots to help Mr. Han stand and the two subsequently train. James Horner is at his best in the movie here, producing a powerful score that drives home that Mr. Han will drown in the past no more. The result is possibly the most powerful and triumphant moment in the film.
- The final fight between Dre and Cheng.
- The climax of the fight has Jaden Smith pulling off the actual Crane Kick (jump, kick, and land all on the same foot) as his Finishing Move.
- Almost better than seeing Dre win is seeing all of Master Li's students line up and bow to Mr. Han to epic music, followed by a priceless expression from Master Li.
- In the alternate ending, Han defeats Li in a fight after the latter seeks to beat Cheng for failing the tournament. Also at the very end, Dre's mother, Sherry, punches him in the jaw as an act of retribution for his students' actions against Dre.
