King Explosion Murder The Shield Hero

Considering how The Rising of the Shield Hero has no shortage of horrible people that exist in its setting, it's safe to say that this story has just as much assholes for Bakugo to beat the shit out of.
  • In Chapter 3, Bakugo uses rope from his Rope Shield to tie up a group of bandits that were planning to make Neia their Sex Slave. The bandits try to goad him into turning them over to the authorities since they know they'll be able to paint themselves as "victims of the Shield Devil". Instead, Bakugo takes all of their clothes and weapons and leaves them where they are, since they will become easy prey for hungry monsters when night falls. To rub it into their faces, Bakugo shows them a seal that can release them from the enchanted rope - and uses his Quirk to launch it far away.
  • In Chapter 6, Bakugo and Neia have to face Zenra, a botanist who was once the royal gardener only to lose his job after he proved himself to be an Abhorrent Admirer of Queen Mirellia. Zenra sends the duo on a quest to retrieve an ancient family treasure, but he later reveals that he has been luring in adventurers to do that same quest, knowing that when a hex vaporized one of them, the others would give up, allowing him to trigger a trap to capture them and use them as guinea pigs for his experiments. He was even planning to use the treasure to create an army of mutant plant monsters, who would conquer Melromarc and allow him to force the Queen to marry him. Needless to say, Bakugo leaves him to his death (legs and back broken, half-buried in a rockslide, with vultures eager for an easy meal) after fighting him, and when he rescues Zenra's two latest captives, they hope he will burn in hell.
  • In Chapter 7, there is Qine, the advisor to King Kardrum of Tervein. However, he is also a member of the Red Hand, a cult of rebels attempting to assassinate the king and take over the kingdom. During the Red Hand's raid on the castle, he proudly reveals to Neia that he murdered Kardrum's father in his sleep and planned to use Kardrum as a puppet king before deciding to just kill him off and take over the kingdom. During his fight with her, she manages to cut off both his arms and legs after he gets distracted by Kirishima. The next morning, he is put on trial and all his attempts to lie his way out are thwarted. He is declared guilty of his crimes and is almost sentenced to execution, but Bakugo convinces Kardrum to spare him, stating that a quick death would be too good for him and suggests for his tongue be removed and rot in jail. The last we see of Qine is him locked up in a cell, unable to say or do anything without his tongue or limbs, where he will suffer for the rest of his life.
  • In Chapter 8, there is Lord Smi of Mirso. He put in a dragon-slaying request against Gaelion which Bakugo and Ren both end up accepting, claiming that his town is being attacked by the dragon. Not only is this a lie, but his real intentions are to put the dragon's corpse on display as a tourist attraction, loot his den, and sell off his adopted young demi-human daughter into slavery. When both Heroes find out the truth, they set up a trap for Smi and his associates which ends with Smi being confronted by Gaelion, who is angry at the man for slandering his name and trying to steal away his daughter. Lord Smi is quickly burnt to a crisp by Gaelion before getting eaten.
  • In Chapter 9, Bakugo's group stops a group of sex traffickers claiming to be cow farmers who are planning to sell off young girls to nobles at Faubley. After confronting two of them and interrogating them, Neia quickly stops feeling sorry for them for inflicting Electric Torture on them before they are fed to Kirishima after getting all the information out of them. Then, the rest of the traffickers are either caught in the explosion of their ship or arrested by the guards.
  • From Chapter 11, there are Arcat and his father, the sheriff, who ran a protection money extortion in the small demi-human town that Bakugo's group visits in Siltvelt. After Arcat gets humiliated by Bakugo, he runs to daddy for help, but even when Arcat, the sheriff, and all their minions confront Bakugo and his team, they are soundly beaten. Then, Bakugo is revealed to be the Shield Hero (whom the demi-humans worship like a god), and he lets the people do whatever they feel like to the extortionists - who are stoned to death by the same people they tormented.
  • Chapter 13:
    • A unit of knights (the very same ones that attacked Raphtalia's village), accompanied by Lord Idol Rabier, head to Mirso, planning to destroy the new demi-human district in Mirso and enslave the demi residents. When they get there, they are confronted by the dragon Gaelion who is enraged by their attempts to hurt his daughter, Wyndia, and promptly kills all the corrupt knights. The good knights of Mirso, who actually cared about protecting people, refuse to help them, knowing that the corrupt knights brought the dragon's wrath upon themselves. For Rabier, he has his legs broken badly during Gaelion's test to see if God would show him mercy before he is dragged off to be tortured to death for two days by his former demi-human slaves, all the while pathetically begging for Gaelion to just eat him already to end his suffering. Eventually, his mutilated corpse is later discovered in a creek.
    • Later, after Rabier's gruesome end, his castle is used as a meeting place by all the pro-Aultcray nobles, landowners, and merchant leaders who are all about the war with Siltvelt and the chance to enslave more demi-humans, even hoping for a civil war against the anti-Aultcray faction, hoping for a chance to kill off some rivals and claim their lands for themselves. They are soon vaporized by a bright beam of light from Pope Balmus's legendary weapon replica. The narration even compares the light to divine judgment.
  • Voldnir and his band of bandits from Chapter 15. He offers to help a town lord deal with the problem of the workers going on strike by offering to "crack a few skulls" to scare the workers back into the lord's service. His group manages to kill a few people and is about to kill a young boy and his father when Ren and Scarlet arrive, killing all the bandits.
  • Plenty more from Chapter 16:
    • Lord Syne, who is chasing down Ren to kill him just because he's the "Sword Demon," only to become a victim of his own bomb-rigged bridge after Ren and Scarlet get across without actually getting on the bridge, then when Syne's forces get on the bridge, Ren sets off the bombs, with Syne's forces either being caught in the explosion or falling to their deaths.
    • Daven's bastard father Allen, who planned to torture his rebellious son to death and then go after his ex-wife Loria and her 6-year-old daughter Katherine. His ex-family does not mourn for him as he gets an arm cut off, stabbed in the stomach, and groin-kicked by Loria, before Daven finishes him off by gouging his eyes out and slitting his throat just to be sure.
    • Lastly, King Janio himself, who was a Lazy Bum who kept human slaves for Cold-Blooded Torture, and personally took charge to break Bakugo into obedience. His actions only end up contributing to the unlocking of the Wrath Shield which allows Bakugo to break free and kill him in a rage and hate-fueled rampage.
  • Chapter 17: Dr. Vok, a military scientist of Siltvelt, is ordered to force Kirishima to submit so that they may control him. When the dragon keeps resisting all the strong slave crests, she decides to break his will by torturing and starving him. When Scarlet comes to save Kirishima, the immoral scientist finds out that she's a Filolial Queen and decides to make her a lab rat as well. After she accidentally breaks Kirishima's restriction brace keeping him in small form, he eats her up, chewing over and over so that it is as painful as possible.
  • Chapter 18: Pope Balmus and his followers. After Bakugo is forced to give in to the Wrath Shield's influence in order to save his group, he manages to overpower the Pope in the beam struggle, causing the corrupt churchman to lose the Legendary Weapon replica which Bakugo takes before destroying it to "defang the venomous pests," leaving the smug pope now horrified. Bakugo and Kirishima then kill off most of the church followers, saving the Pope for last. The Pope cowardly begs for forgiveness, claiming that he can set everything right with Bakugo again, but of course, he's secretly planning on backstabbing him when he gets the chance. Unfortunately for him, Bakugo doesn't fall for it and proceeds to punish the Pope by giving him a minor fire resistance buff that will prevent him from instantly dying by Kirishima's fire without making it less painful, then finally fed to the Iron Maiden, being healed during this to make his suffering last longer until the furious Shield Hero finally lets him die. The narration even states that the Pope and his followers will not be seeing the pearly gates to Heaven, but instead the fire and brimstone of Hell.
  • Chapter 22: King Ransha, the ruler of the Tortoise kingdom, has full intentions of awakening the Guardian Spirit Tortoise as soon as he can, not caring about the fact it's only meant to be released in extreme emergencies to stop the waves of catastrophe and that it will kill off the majority of the world’s population to do so. He and many of the Spirit Tortoise church followers believe those victims would be sinners and that the Tortoise will make Ransha Emperor of what's left of the world after its rampage is done. He is even willing to murder the Shield and Sword cardinal heroes with a surprise bed bomb when he thinks they're trying to stop him. Once its seal is broken, Ransha cheers in anticipation of his god being awakened to make him Emperor of the world, that was until the Spirit Tortoise fires a magic beam breath attack on the King directly, completely vaporizing him. He ironically became the first soul to be collected by his "god." To add insult to injury, after the Tortoise is defeated and Bakugou sabotaged Kyo's attempt to escape with the souls, he frees them from the vial containing them and all the souls rise up in the sky and after releasing their energies, most went to heaven, but then the narration reveals that Ransha's soul is among those headed in "the opposite direction" for his evil deeds.
