Where it stands if this was canon

Despite its position as a fanfiction, it does a surprisingly well at retaining most of the canon events in both Naruto and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The story starts off with a younger Naruto about to be beaten as he is seen as the kyubi itself and not its vessel. Then the turtles arrive to save him, and after a brief meeting with both Naruto and Sarutobi, the hokage at the time, it is revealed that it takes place after the events of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2003), which is where all of the characters are based on here, such as Splinter being Hamato Yoshi's pet rather than Yoshi himself, and the Shredder being an alien. Up till we meet Hun, leader of Purple Dragons, who is revealed to not be a Slash expy, it was thought to be even after the events of Turtles Forever.

In regards to the Narutoverse, however, it is taken before the canon events of the latter, and is somewhat of a retelling of the original series and Shippuden, though some changes were made, in addition to the obvious inclusion of the TMNT characters, such as Naruto having a different outfit and being a Weapon Master, Sasuke being best friends with Naruto, and Original characters Himeko and Yin Yang, the sparing of Tsuchi Kin, and more.
