* AbortedArc: Early in the series Cleo is told of the Blight, an event in which nearly all the galaxy's written and recorded information was lost, severely damaging their ability to fight Octavian. After episode two this problem is only mentioned in a couple of throwaway lines before being completely forgotten; in later episodes the characters seem to have no trouble looking up information when they need it.

* {{Adorkable}}:
** Cleopatra is prone to this whenever she gets excited about something. Being lovestruck and thus not thinking straight also helps.
** Akila herself falls into this due to how energetic and excitable she is. There's also her penchant for rules and protocol.
** Brian himself is pretty geeky, yet is also sweet and honest.
** Yosira is also this when she tries too hard to act like a regular teenager and makes cheesy puns during combat.
