* HookersAndBlow: Instead of using the funding money to buy and maintain equipment for ''Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood,'' his lawyers instead spend it on prostitutes, cheap alcohol, and lavish parties. The reveal of this coupled with them trying to convince Mr. Rogers to market to children, including a ''very'' inappropriate segment on his show, causes Rogers to snap.

** As the show has progressed, Cream Corn and Honey Bee have effectively switched roles as Cream Corn gradually dips more into comic relief and Honey Bee becomes a more competent fighter.

* CycleOfRevenge: Played straight, Lampshaded and finally averted in ''That Seed of Kurtis''.

* BetterThanSex: Bullhorn says this about working in the porno industry. The FridgeLogic is certainly intentional.

* DoubleStandardRapeFemaleOnMale: Poor Cream Corn [[BlackComedyRape gets violated]] by [[{{Squick}} the elderly CPS worker]]. At least he managed to keep the Whorephanage open.
** To add two insults to Cream Corn's injury, the Whorephanage passed inspection but [[{{BiggerIsBetterInBed}} the facility was considered too small]] and [[{{Squick}} she still had her dentures on Cream Corn's]]...

* RaceTropes: ''The Race War'' ran on this and takes it UpToEleven.

* ChildrenAreInnocent: Mr. Rogers has this mindset about children, and will kill people in front of them to defend it; though in his defense, the higher-ups at [=PBS=] wanted to make a spin-off of ''Mister Rogers' Hood'' rife with gangbanger puppets, which was went sent him over the edge.

* NWordPrivileges: Parodied with the ninjas in the first episode, who use the word "ninja" as a euphemism for the n-word proper; whereas Black Dynamite and co. are fine using ninja in that context, a white police officer who uses it gets beat up.

** Mr. Rogers also seems to have privileges of his own; no one bats an eye at him repeatedly dropping the N-word in his theme song.

* TheUnwittingComedian: Richard Pryor is SO hilarious, that anyone that hears him speak will laugh hysterically (except [[spoiler:Black Dynamite]], who has NoSenseOfHumor). It gets SO bad however, he tries to seriously threaten someone in jail, only for them to laugh in his face, not taking him seriously.

* EjectionSeat: [[{{Series/Batman}} Eartha]] [[Series/KnightRider K.I.T.T.]] has one installed for the passenger seat. CIA Agent and Third-Generation Inventor George Washington Carver the 3rd A.K.A. "G" didn't even know what the button did, and he knew everything about the car. BD innocently pressed it, and out he went.

** Though its range is unrealistic, what does BD use to go from the clearly ''Mir''-inspired Soviet space station to the Moon? Why, the ''Lunniy Korabl'' from the unsuccessful [[TheSpaceRace N1 Rocket]].
