As of November 15, 2015, the story is complete. A sequel, [[https://www.fanfiction.net/s/11619011/1/Dinosaur-Extinction-Lasts-Forever Dinosaur:Extinction Lasts Forever]], has been written, which focuses on Hazel and Nigel's efforts to rescue the herd before the meteor hits.
