* GutturalGrowler: When he gets excited during battle. One of the ''many'' signs that you should run away.

* GoodIsNotNice: Yes, her goals are firmly in alignment with the heroes. That doesn't make her any less spiteful, bitter or ruthless.
* GoodIsNotSoft: It's easy to forget, but she's technically one of the good guys, since her ultimate goal is to deal with Terumi. She also assists Kagura with his coup, helps Noel and Makoto evade the NOL and is a vital ally to Ragna in ''Chronophantasma.'' What separates her from the more heroic characters is that there's no line she won't cross for what she believes is the greater good. Even on her best days, she's an AntiHero with a strong belief that the ends justify the means.

* AlternateCompanyEquivalent: In a DecompositeCharacter sort of way, he is this to [[VideoGame/DevilMayCry Dante]] in a similar way Ragna is. While both are {{BFS}} wielding [[OneManArmy one-man armies]] with a DarkIsNotEvil appearance, they seem to have gotten different attributes of the Son of Sparda. Kagura got the lion's share of Dante's status as TheAce, [[ChickMagnet way with women]], and [[ChivalrousPervert shameless but respectable attitude]] toward them. Ragna, meanwhile, got both Dante's looks and the more shitty aspects of his life. Such as his DarkAndTroubledPast, ButtMonkey status, and [[CainAndAbel messed up relationship]] with his brother (who himself is practically an AlternateCompanyEquivalent of Vergil).

* BackFromTheDead: Kokonoe brought her back in the third game. [[spoiler:Well, not exactly the dead Celica from Ragna's backstory, but [[CloningBlues a clone]] made by copying her soul that was trapped in the Boundary and then putting it in a copy body. She's called a "Chronophantasma" for this.]]

* TooManyBelts: [[JustForPun Three Many Belts]] to be precise.

* TooGoodForThisSinfulEarth: Celica's one of the most pure, kind-hearted people in the dark world that ''[=BlazBlue=]'' takes place in, [[spoiler:and she originally was killed by Terumi when he raided the Church and dies doing a HeroicSacrifice in CF]]

* BoobsOfSteel: Her fighting style is one of the most physical in the series while her figure speaks for itself.

* MsFanservice: Inevitable, considering her breast size is only outstripped by the [[BoobsOfSteel Makoto]] and Litchi, compounded with the fact that she walks around wearing [[MemeticMutation hotpants]]... Her Gag Reel pretty much takes this trope and milks it for all it's worth, for while Bullet claims to be modest it doesn't stop Lichi from tricking her into cosplay.

Also Akuma purposefully holds back his power whilst Azrael has a PowerLimited applied to him because he's so powerful he could very easily kill someone. Azrael acts as a deconstruction of Akuma, with his willingness to fight strong opponents makig him an easy sell for the bigger villains to take advantage of and being used against him by the heroes to take advantage of.

* ContraltoOfDanger: Has a ''very'' deep voice and is pretty aggressive and pushy to boot.

* ContraltoOfDanger: Her voice is rather low in comparison to other characters, and she's pretty aggressive on top of owning a large vault of nukes.

He then transforms into a shadow version of Hakumen with TronLines on certain areas of his armor, and slashes the opponent, erasing him from existence.
