* EverybodyDidIt: [[spoiler:Every character except Aya, and apparently her parents (who were already victims of the CycleOfRevenge), is an opponent and/or antagonist.]]

* SenpaiKohai: Aya and Natsume, with some GirlsLove implication, [[spoiler:though the latter turns out to be a huge ruse]].

* KickTheSonOfABitch: Really, you can't help but to cheer at [[spoiler:Aya's mother dishing the oh-so-very deserved brutal beatdown in Chapter Five]].

* OffModel: The breast sizes of the women tend to change depending on the shot.

* SempaiKohai: Aya and Natsume, with some GirlsLove implication, [[spoiler:though the latter turns out to be a huge ruse]].

* SurpriseCreepy: The anime seems to just be a typical PantyFighter tournament series for the first four episodes, but there are hints that the Platonic Heart tournament is NotJustATournament. The final episode comes with the grisly reveal that [[spoiler:all the losers are kidnapped and drugged to become {{Sex Slave}}s, and the losers of this tournament are shown in full detail having been drugged so thoroughly that they are laughing like crazy, completely brain dead as their handers treat them like pets, and Aya is aghast at what has been done to them (especially since one of them is her chemistry teacher)]], all while creepy music plays in the background.

* BigBad: The Leader of Platonic Heart who is organizing the tournament, in which women are forced to fight each other to be able to MakeAWish on the Platonic Heart. [[spoiler:It turns out to be [[BigBadDuumvirate Miko Kazuki, Haruki Honma, Natsume Honma, and Kumi Honma]], who have been turning the losers into mindless {{Sex Slave}}s and want RevengeByProxy on Aya's mother.]]

* ApologeticAttacker: Aya's teacher practically telegraphs all her moves while she begs Aya to either block or stay down. [[AndKnowingIsHalfTheBattle If only Aya studied her chemistry textbook...]]

* BullyHunter: Aya once took on and defeated an entire school of bullies, single-handedly, and in a single battle, presumably for Natsume's well-being. Ironically, this is precisely what makes her easy prey for the plot of the series.

* CatGirl: Aya out-{{Moe}}s the {{Meido}} with a costume that adds cat ears and tail.

* CripplingOverspecialization: Episode 4's main fighter, Rin, made it to the Semi-finals because of her stress-based tactics. Apparently she had every fight inside of her shop, and was able to use an {{otaku}} crowd and their jeers to stress her opponents out so she could over-power them. When Aya over-comes this and turns the tables, we see Rin's physical prowess is much less than many previous villains like the Sisters.
