After parsing through that stream-of-consciousness edit above, I'm willing to call both the plushie and Favors for the Sexy a Continuity Nod to Spike's Precocious Crush. As to who made the plushie and how Spike got it, that's probably a matter for the WMG pages.
I thought that Twilight sleeping with her pancakes was Adorkable territory. What do y'all think?
Co-author of Code Wings 3.0. Also... I'M RUNNING FOR THE RIVER!! Hide / Show RepliesI think that's a really weak example. Especially since Adorkable is not an event trope.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanGonna have to agree with Septimus. We describe characters as Adorkable, not specific occurrences. And while those specific occurrences can add up to a character trait, just one of them doesn't make the trope on its own.
See the main recap discussion page; ponies are cute when they sleep. Heck, ponies are intentionally cute period; it is a show for little girls, after all. The pancakes are...well, they're just breakfast.
Edited by pvsageThe Broken Base entry is nothing but complaining, this trope requires mixed receptions. Should it be removed, commented out until fix, or what?
Should Ship Tease be moved to the main recap page or changed to Shipping Goggles? Also, I'm pretty sure Rarity is just exploiting Favors for the Sexy when she flutters her eyelashes, since Spike has been shown to have a crush on Rarity from the series premiere, and everypony knew it.
EDIT: Does the plushie qualify as an Implied Love Interest? Getting Crap Past the Radar (because Spike sleeps with the plushie)? Fandom Nod (because Bronies are known to collect and make their own plushies)? Everythings Better With Plushies? Merchandise-Driven? Product Placement?
