It's best to wait and see how the situation evolves, and how viewers react (or how long they continue having the current reaction). Since CN has been fairly inconsistent in regards of what they want to do, it's too easy to declare any slump as a Dork Age. If the situation continues for the following months (or even the rest of the year), then the article could make a mention of it.

As in my recent edit, I agree with Flying Duck Man Genesis. Go to somewhere like Toonzone or Reddit, and everyone will agree that Cartoon Network has entered a new Dork Age.
If fans are actually missing Stuart Snyder, something has gone seriously wrong. And my edit should have all the details (and you can look at the sources I have mentioned.)

While I am particularly impressed with how much effort went into putting the details involving the other CN shows and the treatment they have been given, one show in particular hasn't had any mention of its treatment, and it's Sonic Boom. During the first season of the show, CN put the show in the 7:00 AM Saturday Morning time slot, with the advertisements for the show being virtually non-existent. They took the show off the network after the first season finale, "It Takes a Village to Defeat a Hedgehog", aired the first few episodes of the second season in the 6:00 AM Saturday Morning time slots, and as of "The Biggest Fan", they air the show (including the Season 2 episodes) on its sister channel, Boomerang, in the 6:00 PM and 6:30 PM time slots on Saturday and Sunday. And it's such a shame, because Sonic Boom does the superhero sitcom dynamic right by keeping its protagonists likable and using more mature storylines.

Also sorry for taking away your chance to vent about the current situation with Cartoon Network. Though as we all notice, Cartoon Network is starting to hit close to Konami-levels of pissing everone off. (Does that make Nickelodeon the Capcom of kids channels? Trying to Win Back the Crowd?)
That's quite all right. You did put a lot of effort to detail on the other CN shows, and I am very impressed with that. I probably couldn't have done that alone. And I agree, Cartoon Network has definitely entered its second dork age as Nickelodeon recovered from its.
I think that the Nickelodeon example should be updated, considering that since 2015, Nickelodeon's quality has been improving with the successes of The Sponge Bob Movie Sponge Out Of Water, Harvey Beaks, and The Loud House. The humor and storytelling of Sanjay and Craig has also improved, and Breadwinners has been relegated to Nicktoons Network and not been picked up for a third season.

Right now, I think that Cartoon Network is going through another dork age, due to the fact that over half the channel's time slots are filled in with reruns of Teen Titans Go!, and the fact that they regularly cancel and/or ignore far better shows such as Adventure Time, Regular Show, The Amazing World of Gumball, Steven Universe, and Sonic Boom, at the very least, relegating them to Boomerang, its sister channel.
