openLooking for name of movie with this scene
I saw years ago a movie where a arrogant female policeofficer that was taking to young girls she didn't treat nice was suddenly taken as hostage by a friend of them. In the next scene one of the girls got revenge on her as she was left in her village handcuffed naked to a statue of a naked man,her face against the cock of the statue. Then the people leave the church and you see as they laugh when they see her butt naked tied there. You could see her from naked from behind, her butt and everything. I think it was an 80s movie. Does someone know the name of the movie?
openold cartoon about people and there bionic spider partners? Western Animation
there was this show I watched along time ago. around 2008 or later or earlier, were there was this secret place of people with some sort of device that connected them with spiders. the main character, a human, stumbles apon this device and it attaches it to him " like he was chosen" and the spider connected to it trys to kill him because how can a human wear the device, but the spider has to be his partner and it dosnt like him, that really all I can remember, all I have is vivid flash backs.
openLive-Action show with a boy, a girl and dinosaurs
I think it was placedsomewhere near a school and dinosaurs looked very realistic. At first (i think) only the boy and his friend, a girl, could see them, but the dinosaurs also interacted with the real world. The girl didn't bdlieve it at first until she saw one. The first episodes had a long-necked dinosaur and a spinosaurus.
openShow where they have to buy back dogs from a bully? Western Animation
It was an animated film or (more likely) tv special where a group of kids went to a mall, only for one girl to discover two of her puppies have hidden in her bag. They escape and are caught by a bully-type who demands a ransom for them back (threatening to sell them) so the kids have to raise the money. They succeed but I think he doesn't want to accept the cash so they have to stand up to him.
openA Sandman Story? Print Comic
This was a Graphic Novel I read a single chapter of back in high school. I had a collected graphic novel book, sort of a "sampler." I believe the title was something along the lines of "20XX graphic novel previews," and it had a single chapter of quite a few graphic novels. One of the few I remember specifically was a Blacksad chapter, if that helps.
Anyways, within this sampler, was a single chapter of a comic I've been wanting to read ever since, but never tracked down. I've since narrowed it down to SOMETHING related to Neil Gaiman's Sandman, due to recognizing a character. It featured a man visiting an island(I think it may have been somewhere in Greece or Italy) that was supposed to have some ancient ruins. He got dropped off by a sailor, or rented a rowboat or something, and went against warnings by the locals. Instead, he ended up at a lively party, and speaking with Death of the Endless(this is how I finally learned what series it's from).
The party was nobles dancing, or something of the like, and I'm pretty sure they all suddenly died of disease over the course of the story. It was very interesting at the time, and I remembered loving the design and characterization of Death, it was the first time I'd seen a non-negative portrayal of a Death character. does anybody know which of the many, many spinoffs or sequels I might have been reading?
openGirl has pen pals, loves nicknames Literature
I remember this children's book written in a non conventional format, by which I mean the pages were colorful and the dialogue was on notebook paper I think? I think the cover was dark pink. Probably no newer than late 00s. I don't remember the main plot or anything, but there are bits I remember.
The main character had gotten multiple pen pals around the world, and was obsessed with nicknames, so she'd always ask them to give her a nickname based on their country/language. Also, there was a bit where she did a research project on the woman her school is named after. The woman's maiden name was Bottom, which leads the main character to quip that she's glad she got married so she didn't have to say she goes to a school called Bottom.
That's all I remember. What book was this?
Edited by arimothereindeeropenOld animated miniseries about three chunks of vomit?
This was a mini series about three little characters kinda shaped like clouds, I've read somewhere that they were made of vomit (ew). One of them was green, the other one was red (his name was Ralph, I think) and the smallest one was purple (he was called Hugh or Huey) There were many episodes like them fighting about what to watch on TV, or Huey getting a job in a sushi (I think) or them going to the zoo and being chased by paper bags. I remember them clearly but cannot seem to find anything about them... Thanks in advance!
Edited by Azure-ReflexopenFrench movie about a man getting his friend to pretend to be his wife Film
He had a mistress who trashed his apartment with a chainsaw until it got stuck, then his "wife" actually sided with the mistress in order to try and woo her.
openAnime or Animesque adult cartoon with women fighting
I was young, probably 5 years old, flipping through cable channels trying to find Cartoon Network to watch Pokémon or something. This would set the date at around 2005. I landed on a show on a channel I didn't know that I would later come to recognize as Animesque, although it may have been a dubbed anime. Two women, at least one of whom had dark skin, were fighting in a wrestling ring wearing blue singlets. One of them says "Prepare... for your... extinction," choppily. One of them leapt into the air, holding a chair or something, and brought it down on the other. I also remember one of the women (the loser?) being buried up to her neck in concrete.
Edited by Katdoopenclassic cartoon from 30s Western Animation
I've been looking for a classic old cartoon probably from the 30s/40s. I don't remember if it's black and white or coloured. The plot is about a little boy who I guess comes over to someone's house, but the little girl who lives there is very rude and when they go to shake each other's hands, she pulls her hand back. She does some mean things to the boy, and from what I remember I think she gets what she deserves (karma). i think it was the little boy who was scaring her, and then they become friends at the end. There was a scene with a piano and fish I think. It has the same animation style as the cartoon "boy meets dog" from 1938. This has been bothering me for so long now and i'd appreciate any help! Thanks!
openStrange Adventure Show... Live Action TV
I vaguely remember an old show about these adventurers who encounter some strange phenomenons. I remember a scene from an episode about these people are rolling a giant egg somewhere. What I would remember best from this show, though, would be an episode when they find a hole that keeps on disappearing. They put a rope in this hole so that they always know where it is. When they go into the hole, they start orbiting a large red orb. Iʻve been trying to look for this show for years! A response would be highly appreciated.
Edited by jpizzleopenNovel with a cartoony cover Literature
I remember some years ago (I can't quite remember how many), I was in a library and found a cover for a book that caught my attention. Unlike most of the other books in the library, the art for the cover was in a rather cartoony artstyle, perhaps vaguely burton-esque but I can't quite remember. As for what was happening on the cover, as I recall it was of a little girl standing in front of a TV (which I believe had a static-y screen) while two people that I'd presume to be her parents stare at her in confusion. The cover intrigued me and I skimmed a couple pages, and surprisingly the book itself seemed like a traditional novel, at least in format. I didn't check it out, but I just remembered it the other day and I was wondering if anybody recalls a book with a cover like that (if you remember something that's similar but not quite the same feel free to tell me about it anyway, I might be misremembering things.)
open"I'm my own elf!" Live Action TV
I remember a live-action Christmas movie about Santa and one of his elves in the US (not at the North Pole) where the elf exclaims that he isn't Santa's elf; "I'm my own elf."
I've quoted that line - "I'm my own elf!" for years but have no idea where it came from. Can anybody help me out?
openPixel art MMO? Videogame
So I remember playing an MMO on Miniclip somewhere around the 2010s that had a crazy name. It was all one word and very hard to remember. I remember that it had pixel art and that you could buy/make snowball turrets. I also remember being able to transform into a slime for 1M coins (Or a similar amount) and then you could go around turning others into slimes. The goal was to infect as many people as possible within the time limit. If you were turned into a slime to could press a button at any time to transform back. There was a paper bag accessory that you could wear on your head. There was some stores and there was a glitch to get on top of one of them. I don't know if you had your own house or not. It might have been in an isometric perspective. I don't think it was Habbo Hotel though.
openI can’t remember this tv show
There is this show I used to watch with my sister but we both can’t remember the name of the show. All I remember is this one episode where these girls are at prom and one of the girls need to pee so she leaves the group and goes to the restroom, when she opens the door she finds her bf I think cheating on her, she then pees herself. It might be wrong but that’s all I remember. Please help me and thank you for your time.
openmovie in which they hold a little girl in a laboratory Film
maybe in the 60s or 70s. they get rid of all women (off-screen) and leave only the little girls alive or just one. then they keep her in a laboratory or something. they want to do an experiment that will change women in some way. i hope you guess the movie title or at least some suggestions ?
openShow opening sequence is animated paper plane Live Action TV
I don't remember what the actual show was about but the opening sequence was an animation of either a pierrot in a pointed hat or a guy in pyjamas with a sleep cap pushing off on a paper plane? I think the show itself may have been live action. I would have been on in either the late 80's or early 90's.
I remember playing a short, side-scrolling, web-based platformer where you're a small black robot-like character and you navigate levels using (iirc) your extendable arms. It could be completed in under 30 minutes. The plot, as I remember it, was that either you or your girlfriend fell in love with the moon and wanted to reach it/obtain it. The ending had you either find your girlfriend (a similar robot with a pink bow) or the moon, I don't remember which. I want to say it was called "I/she fell in love with the moon". I remember playing it on either Cool Math Games or its sister site (it was often advertised at the time I played, but I also don't remember its name)
It was a really short and sweet little game and I'd love to play it again someday, tyia!
