It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread
for ongoing cleanup projects.

openMother's Finest Music
The article for the Funk Rock band Mother's Finest was deleted for some reason. Can it be restored?
openReal Life Troping on Michael Jackson-related articles Music
I've admittedly kept quiet on this one for a while, because I wasn't 100% sure at first, But a troper named zoinknoise made a lot of questionable Michael Jackson-related edits, particularly on his main trivia page (zoinknoise's edits are the most recent ones), the This Is It trivia page, and at least a few others that straight up trope aspects of the man's life, which is a violation of site rules last I checked. Jackson's main trivia page is the most blatant, since it contains several actual tropes, and not trivia entries. Permission to cut the IRL troping stuff?
Edited by AfroThunderresolved Works listed under StandardSnippet Music
The Standard Snippet page did have a list of subpages, some of which are Main/ pages and rightfully treated as tropes. On the other hand, there are quite a few works with well-known snippets that are listed under Music/ (which is explicitly a work-related namespace), and yet those pages mostly serve to describe said works and list where said snippets are found, rather than listing tropes to the works in question. What can be done about said work pages that aren't treated as such?
Edited by GrafVonTirolopenQuestionable edits on Music/KrisWu Music
A few days ago, PRC 4 Eva added some tropes to Kris Wu relating to his recent sexual assault scandal and its ramifications. They also added a summary of the scandal to the description. I'm not entirely sure if that's okay, but I'm pretty sure that the tropes relating to the scandal shouldn't have been added. Do correct me if I'm wrong, though.
Edited by PsychedelicateopenReception paragraph removed for no given reason? Music
I created a page for the Weezer album Raditude. bowserbros removed this paragraph with no explanation:
The album is seen as the band's absolute low-point. While albums like Make Believe and Pacific Daydream have their defenders, most fans agree that this album is their worst, with special attention called to "Can't Stop Partying" as one of the band's absolute worst songs. It's criticized for trying way too hard to be "hip with the kids" in an ever-changing pop landscape where rock music is falling out of favor with the youth of the day. That being said, the album is said to have a few good songs, though it's not agreed upon which ones, and it's certainly not "Can't Stop Partying" or "Love is the Answer". The album was a critical and commercial failure (being one of their worst-selling albums), which no doubt played a part in Geffen's decision not to renew their contract with the band.
I wasn't trying to bash this album, I was only summing up the general opinion of it.
openCorrect formatting on Awesome Music? Music
I added the following set of examples to AwesomeMusic.Electronic:
- Old-school Drum and Bass and jungle have produced some killer tracks as well:
- "Dancer" by Tom & Jerry is one such track, with its fast-paced drum beats mixed with some downright gorgeous backing instrumentals.
- "Coolin Out" by LTJ Bukem is another great track, which blends a relaxing ambient background with the frenetic drum beats typical of Drum and Bass.
Unfortunately I am unaware of how to format this, and the rest of the page isn't much help since it is also riddled with formatting errors. Example Indentation in Trope Lists additionally wasn't much help here either, since I didn't see a similar situation to mine on it.
I am fairly sure I formatted it incorrectly, so I brought it here to figure out what to do with it. What is the correct formatting for this specific set of examples?
Edited by themayorofsimpletonopenBritish Music is all messed up now Music
The British Music index recently had an unilateral change to list what part of England each band is from. This is confusing to those who possess little knowledge of the U.K.'s geography, and IMHO, is not needed.
openUnfinished Page Music
Just asking, it's not kosher to make an unfinished page, right? Like just a half-finished description and no tropes.
openHow would I make a page for a musical artist? Music
I've recently decided that I want to make a page for a musical artist, but I don't know how to make a page for a specific person. How do I do that?
openTeamheadkick Music
Can someone create this article about Teamheadkick, with a list of their songs?
openShould I do a ReferencedBy page for Milli Vanilli? Music
I was wondering if I should start a Referenced by... page for Milli Vanilli. I want to, but I fear it will morph into a Take That! page instead (I started one for MC Hammer that's still pretty respectful asof this writing).
openOops. Music
The bottom part of the Memes/Music page is a disaster, as it looks like someone tore through it and made the label notes not work. I am beginning to think that I accidentally caused it, as an I am pretty sure an example switched to a broken one after I deleted a broken one. Can someone please revert my edits and make them better? P.S: Sorry for the length and begging.
Edited by ehwhynotopenCyndi Lauper Music
Should the Wresting/ namespace be added to Cyndi Lauper, given her influence that paved way to WWE's Wrestlemania?
openproper namespace help? Music
Hey guys, is Creator/ or Music/ the proper namespace for the page i just made, Midge Ure?
openYMMV entry without a work page? Music
Just stumbled upon YMMV.Trouble, which is soft-split between the comic and the band. Thing is, we don't have a page for the band, so is this okay?
openPage with no examples Music
Ariel Pink contains no examples at all. What should be done with it?
openAwesome music subpage? Music
Hey guys, what are the rules for awesome music subpages? I want to make one for Depeche Mode.
openplace to put WIP crap! Music
Hey dudes/dudettes, I'm trying to work on some pages for bands that lack a Tv T page. Is there a place to write these on the wiki instead of a word processor?
openEnough tropes for a page? Music
Trivia is allowed on creator pages. Is a band in Music/ a kind of creator page or strictly speaking not a creator page because of the namespace? Breed 77 won't have enough examples without the one trivia.
Oh, and one's light on context...

On Mood Motif, currently the only entry about musical keys is a list of moods that minor keys give off.
However, I've been thinking for a while about the differences between specific minor keys and their moods. For example, D Minor tends to be the go-to "evil" key. It sounds epic and dramatic. C Sharp Minor, on the other hand, is more subdued and melancholic. I think different minor keys are associated with different moods.
This also goes for major keys. C Major is often seen as happy and simple, sometimes in a childish way. E Flat Major is grand, powerful, and uplifting.
Would it be okay to start listing specific musical keys and their stereotypes on this page? I don't have stereotypes for every major and minor key yet, but for the keys I do have, I can think of a few examples of songs in those keys that fit the stereotypes associated with them.
