openTV show / movie about reading minds Film
I remembered these days about a TV show or a movie that I used to watch when I was a kid and the only thing I could remember is that there was a necklace and the person (or a specific person) who wore it could read minds. Any ideas?
EDIT: when: 7-10 years ago where: the national tv post in Romania (TVR)
Edited by Quest515600openOld movie with characters sent to another world Film
Hi everyone, I'm searching for a movie I used to watch when I was a kid (during the 80's, but the movie itself could be older). All I remember is that in this movie a strange green pyramid appears in a kid's room and strange things happens, and the characters end in a an other world or the future, can't really tell.... Loved this thing I would like to see it again, thanks in advance for the help !
openmedieval sci fi comedy Film
Ok, this is a weird one. A comedy film about a medieval knight and his crew in some other planet or a spaceship abducted by a single-gender race of dwarf orange aliens (all played by little people) with weird noses. The knight dresses like King Arthur in the Monty Python movie and at some points faces his own clon.
openA Mary Pickford film Film
Does anyone know which film this scene is from? I saw it in a documentary about Pickford. I know it involves a baby dying, or something to that effect.
openBlack and White POW movie Film
I'm looking for an old POW movie, it is in black and white so probably 40s or 50s era. It is not Albert RN or Stalag 17''.
It is a movie about a wheeler dealer in, I think, the American Military who is moved around various POW camps including being sent to a logging camp where the other POWs think he is a traitor and try to murder him with a meat hook or logging hook. He eventually escapes near the end of the war, after he makes contact with a female member of the resistance who is an optician or optometrist. He also manages to trick the German guards at the logging camp into burning down their own camp at one point.
Can anyone help with this? Again, it is not Stalag 17
Edited by CrypticMirroropenhorror hotel movie Film
This a movie from the 80s about a Hotel were some of the clients that stay there get kill by an ax murderer. The hotel is suppose to lack the 13 floor for a superstition, but it turns out it did has the 13 floor, there is were clients with no family are placed to be killed by the hotel owner who does it for a Deal with the Devil (if he kill a specific number of people gets immortal). All the employees know and are in it. The Final Girl is blonde.
opencampers get attacked Film
This is a Made-for-TV Movie about a couple camping in the middle of the mountains and they are taken in the middle of the night for an alleged cop. It turns out is just a psycho impersonating a cop. The guy is eventually left behind, but the psycho and his girlfriend (a mature woman with two kids) keep the girl kidnaped for a while. The girl is blonde, the psycho had beard and lots of tattoos in his body and wore a baseball cap and a flannel shirt. Is from the late 80s or early 90s. It’s been bugging me for years.
openRecent-ish werewolf b-movie Film
I caught about half of this movie on TV, possibly on Chiller (American cable channel dedicated to horror-related movies and shows). The basic plot was that a teenage boy discovers he's part werewolf, and while trying to find out more about his past, finds himself traveling to this isolated town that turns out to be totally populated by werewolves. There he meets several other main characters including a love interest who's the mayor's daughter, and an antagonist who is the leader of some sort of werewolf gang and wants him dead for reasons I forget. Even though the film was set in the present day, the werewolf town had a distinct "old west" aesthetic to it, and the deal might have been that it was an old abandoned ghost town that the werewolves decided to take for their own. There was a comic relief character who was the sister of the love interest - due to nepotism, she's both the town drunk and the bartender at the local saloon. She's introduced laying underneath the bar and pouring herself drinks, and later gets one of the more memorable lines, upon learning the wolf gang leader wants to fight the main character on October 31st: "What's spookier than being eaten by a werewolf on Halloween?" note I might not have the exact wording of that right - the first thing I thought of doing was googling the phrase in quotes and it turned up nothing relevant. I saw this around a year ago, and it might have been at most 2-3 years older.
Edited by MikeKopenScene where car had no engine Film
Was either a movie or live action tv.
Two guys brought a car to some outdoor party with the engine removed (I can't remember why). The cops come and they need to run, and a guy opens up the hood to jumpstart it and realizes the car had no engine.
This is a very faint memory, but I know I saw it in something...
openroad movie Film
This movie is from the 70s, early 80s tops. Is a road movie about two guys in a car and a very beatufil girl that tag along, they found her seated in the back seat one day. There were some Hells Angels-like bikers involved. The girl wore a top very similar to this but with pants.
opena film about a woman training to revenge her parents Film
The actress look a lot like Geena Davis, but is not Geena Davis, she was in trainning to become like some sort of assasin maybe, she has a old mentor with long white hair and starts killing several gangsters in revenge. It turns out that when she was a child four gangsters (one of them a blonde woman) killed his father and raped his mother (including the woman).
open80s movie with humanoid aliens hiding out in a house with mom and teen daughter Film
This was an 80s movie (or maybe late 70s) that I stumbled across on TV once when I was a teenager. It involved a group of humanoid aliens hiding out in a house occupied by a single mother and her teenage daughter. The aliens resembled humans with pale skin and glam-rock hair and clothes but I recall them being rather glowwy and having some difficult communicating. They were being hunted or pursued by another extraterrestrial force, though I don't remember if their enemies were of the same species or different. The aliens have trouble communicating with the mom and daughter, and at first the humans think they are hostile, but then they realize the aliens are scared and hiding out, so they help them. The movie had a very "Starman clone" type of vibe with one of the aliens being an attractive young man close in developmental age to the daughter and they developed a bond. Very 80s, with the mother-daughter conflict revolving around the departure (I forget whether due to death or divorce) of the girl's dad. I didn't see the whole movie but I remember it being very atmospheric.
Edited by FTDopensomething I saw a year ago, then forgot due to completely avoiding it. Film
I was watching a compilation of every Cuphead boss, when it got to King Dice there was a group of wine with legs but no arms. When I saw the big rectangle shaped bottle I was reminded of something else. 3 food items around a fireplace either singing or talking about something. Something distinct I know was they had hair. The items in question were what I remember as a roll cake, rice (He could have been oatmeal, or flour though.) and some wine. Maybe there was four, I'm not sure but I think it was three.
openKid's Show with Green Puppets? Film
Okay. I remember watching this show as a kid. And I can't remember the name. So, there is a kid (probably girl?) and her mother. The mother is orange, and the girl is green? Everyone is a puppet. I remember the girl is Mona, or something like that. And the girl has a really husky voice. I only remember one episode, where the girl had her first haircut, and the mom taped the clipping into a book. Anyone?

openAnimal documentary for kids from 90s? Film
Back in late 90s I had some cassettes with short animal documentaries for kids. I'm not sure if it was aired on TV or if it was just some special you could buy in kids magazines since I'm not from english-speaking countries, but the show was definitely in english. I have no idea where I got it from and the only recognizable feature was the fact that it was narrated by a wacky looking robot that said some funny (I guess) lines between different shots. I vaguely remember being creeped out by him bacause I think he looked like some kind of endoskeleton whose eyebrows could move on its own.
openStrange Horror Movie... Film
I remember seeing this movie when I was younger about a team who investigates a haunted house. There was a scene where an old photo album shows a black-and-white picture of a man and his wife (I think the husband killed her) and the pages turn like a flipbook, with the wife slowly pointing towards a fireplace where I think they discovered bones concealed in the ashes. I think one of the characters was later decapitated by a swinging pendulum which was in the fireplace as well? One of the group, a woman, wants to stay in the house to look after the ghost of the dead couple's child, after uncovering a hidden nursery room. Near the end though, she decides to escape and the entire building comes to life, with the vaulted roof twisting and distorting to form a screaming face, presumably that of the evil father. I believe she ends up dying and freeing all the trapped souls, who are shown as engravings on this huge door, kind of like Rhodin's gateway to hell, only bigger. They possibly drag the husband's ghost to the underworld as well. The production values seemed late 80s or early 90s to me, although I could be wrong. Many thanks in advance!
Edited by cake1resolved Thriller-type movie Film
I caught part of this film on Starz (either just the regular channel or a spinoff) while relaxing in a hotel a few days ago, and I would have caught the name if the schedules on the DVR were correct. Best as I could tell, it was a thriller film about a girlfriend and boyfriend being chased by this scary dude and the police, because they were framed/blamed for killing people when it was actually the scary dude.
One scene had them trying to sneak past the cops (New Mexico police, I think), but the guy got caught until the girl pulled a revolver (probably from one of the cops) and made the cop holding her boyfriend let him go, but then the scary dude shows up, there's a gunfight with one or two cops getting killed (by the dude), and the couple takes the squad car and runs away. They get into an argument with the Sheriff over the car's radio, and are being chased by a ton of police until the scary dude shows up again in a busted-up black Pontiac while "Closer" by Nine Inch Nails plays during the sequence, and the guy runs the cops off the road and then maybe the couple.
The last bit I remember was that the couple managed to hide out in a motel, they're staying in separate rooms, the girl's in a shirt and underwear, then she's attacked by the scary dude again, fends him off, goes outside, and discovers that her boyfriend is bound, gagged, and chained up to a semi truck and a trailer.
The scary dude is in the cab and driving the truck, threatening to pull the dude apart, the girl pulls the revolver on the dude, but he says that he wants to die and that if she shoots him, his foot will fall off the clutch and the boyfriend will likely die. But then the cops showed up, and that's about the point where I had to leave the room for the day's activities.
I have tried looking this film up on IMDB by keyword, but either this film is super-recent, or it's too obscure to have all the relevant keywords applied to it.
Hi, my first post ever!
I want you to help me find these two movies, this is all I can remember about them:
1. A grim dark animated kids movie, little dance numbers included, with a kid who happens to kill a cat and then its ghost haunts and talks with him during the rest of the movie. Pretty messed up, I know.
2. An animated puppet movie (series?) with the, I would like to say, children of well known monsters. I think the protagonist was the son of Frankenstein's monster and that it happened in their school (which I think was a castle).
Any clue would be much appreciated, these two wreck my mind the days I remember them!
