openLooking for movie, about father and son. (please please please) Film
This movie tells the story of a father and young son, the father has a sickness, and he is the one that takes care of his son, they also live in a small, poor, and tight community. It's modern setting, at some point the son receives a chocolate cake for his birthday, and the father would pick up trash to make money. The son and father are the main plot, it's all focused on them, mostly the father.
The movie might be Turkish. i think there's a part where the kid goes out to help him collect trash, the father had a beard, they both had brown hair, both were white, the kid was pretty small too.
That's all, please and thank you. It's a matter of great urgency.
Edited by emilydickinson7openNo Title Film
I only watched a small scene ten years ago. I remember being implicit that they were in a type of apocalypsis scenario, they could not fall asleep or they were turned into something like zombies or maybe they became part of the hive mind or smt like that. The scene showed a mother with her son in a shopping I think. It had a greenish filter I think. Ty in advance.
openVillain is sucked down a fountain drain Film
I oversaw a movie that my grandparents were watching back in the mid or late 2000s, and this one villain is sent spinning down the drain of a draining fountain. Once he was sucked all the way in, a big bubble glugged up from there
openNo Title Film
This film was in black & white,circa(maybe)1950s.When I was four, I was watching a movie (it was already on) while Mom was flitting about in the kitchen,at about eight a.m. Every other time, my parents were adamant about monitoring All our TV exposure. But the phone rang, & she was sidelined for a few minutes. That being said...a scene in the movie showed a (solarium/ conservatory?) room, located towards the center of the home. With plants, & low lighting, there was a white bassinet, within, with such a darling baby, fast asleep. I didn't see the parents around, but a Cat started walking stealthily into the room. It crawled upon the bassinet, & then atop the baby, where it proceeded to suction the air from that dear child! Of course, I didn't see the rest of the movie, as I started crying & my Mother spirited me away. Never heard of nor saw the movie, again. But, even though it was so upsetting, it's always bothered me that I never finished the movie. Please find it. They say we all have our demons to face. This is mine. TY!
Edited by Pluckiopenkorean(?) anthology film series? Film
a while ago i watched this series of movies. they were korean i think but it could be a different country. i watched it through a friend streaming them on discord. apparently there were a lot but i only watched a few. i asked that friend about the title and they just said "strange tales i think?" which gives me nothing, do you know how many tales there are bro let alone strange ones. i was wondering if someone knows these films. i remember several of the stories. spoilers i suppose. the stories between the stores were always narrated by this one old man. one of the stories involved a child praying to a shrine that she would get every question on the test right, and it comes true and warps the world around her wrong answers so they are correct, which makes havoc ensue. another story involves a character who gains a condition where they often hear music and have to act along to it, and she finds another person with the same condition. i dont remember exactly how it ended but i do remember they died because of a certain special song. another story involved a man finding a supernatural NES game, which would summon the man's childhood friend who would play the same game with him when he was young. i dont remember a whole lot about this story but i remember something about the childhood friend dying in a river on their way home. another story which i can only remember the concept of was about a world where snobby business men acted like dogs. the last story i can remember and put into words was about a story about half the length of the other ones about a golden egg. i dont remember anything else about it.
if anyone could help me find these films that would be GREATLY appreciated, they were really fun
openIDK what it is Film
This movie came on late at night. It involved a middle aged (40-45?) married couple, who'd been married for years. Only he worked, & she kept a Flawless home! She had obvious OCD, plus she may have had a problem leaving the house. As she was cleaning, she found evidence of his infidelity (which doesn't surprise me because their sex life was,at best, pitiable). Surprisingly...she eventually murdered him. Also, the dialogue was her narrating it with her thoughts, I think. She just cleaned & straightened, & it was dead quiet, except for the sound of her voice... eerily so! Very obviously controversial, so it may be one of those films they felt was better left to gather dust on the shelf. Only saw it once. Thanks, I hope it's a helpful description.
openMovie about car chase and kidnapping Film
I'm looking for the title of this movie I saw during a flight. I missed beginning, so I don't know the title. It was released during the early 90's, possibly 1993-1994.
Some guy has kidnapped a girl (willingly or not, I can't be sure) and is fleeing on a car while being chased/hunted down by the police. Naturally, the girl isn't happy about it, but during their ride they both start to know one another and like each other.
During the climax, the man release the girl unharmed. He's apprehended by the police who taunt him along with the girl's wealthy and jerkass father. The girl then grab a gun and have the guy released and they both escape on the car together.
Thanks.
openComedic Car Crash Film
It's driving me bananas, but everything I think it might be turns out to not quite be it— I chose film as the medium but it could be a cartoon or something. All the action occurs in one static shot (wide shots are comedy!), the view is of a wide open field and there's a car going out of control off the road for some reason, and it crashes into the one tree in the whole field. It does not cut to the interior of the car at any time during the proceedings. Wide shots are comedy.
open"Story of my life... the end" in mysterious girl's journal Film
I remember seeing a scene from whatever this was, it looked low-budget, on US TV about 10-15 years ago. A young adult guy finds a young adult woman passed out on the sidewalk. He is giving normal-guy vibes, she is giving manic pixie dream-girl vibes. He carries her into a house and lays her on the bed, and I remember he takes her boots off. She's asleep. He looks through her bag or something, and finds her journal. He opens it to the first page spread and it's cutely decorated with big lettering saying "The Story of My Life." He turns the page, and it's blank. The next page is also blank. He then flips quickly through the journal, all blank pages to the end, where again it has cutesy lettering and decoration, saying "The End." There was no dialog. I am of the impression it was on PBS and was some kind of indie short film but I'm not sure. I don't think that scene was the entirety of the piece, I think it was the beginning, but that was the only part of it I saw.
openImmortal old man who wants to die Film
My sister remebers seeing this movie a couple of years ago. Her memory is vague, but she is completely sure it's live action and she was sad for a while.
She only remebers the ending (take it with a grain of salt). The old man says that as he's immortal having friends is useless and he has assisted to many funerals, so he'll rather be alone or is condemned to be alone (or something along those lines). She remembers him saying it as he stares through a window / the window is close and the camera "spins".
Something was up with his immortality, but doesn't know if she's filling the gaps or if it actually happened in the movie.
Thank you.
openNoughties Ghost Town Film Film
I watched this this film once when I was a kid so I can't provide a lot of details, but it's from the late 90s/early 2000s, 2005 max.
I think it was about 2 girls who go into a town in which everyone is a ghost or is possessed. I have a vague memory of photography being involved somehow. Perhaps theyet a photographer in the town?
Thanks for the help
openHorror film about a snuff website that begins with a forklift hitting a girl Film
Horror film with mostly white cast, possibly non-english language around 00s
- Film starts from a perspective of a security camera in a store following a girl. Girl notices the camera following her and starts motioning to it before a forklift suddenly swerves to her then the footage cuts to the opening before it hits her
- Slasher story about group of friends being picked off, at some point they discuss a website that hosts snuff films including the girl being hit by the forklift.
- As Final Girl and guy are out, guy says he put the group of friends on the website and fed them information believing that it was a practical joke but the killers are using them as part of snuff film
- The film may ended with the Final Girl screaming at the killers while they prowl around her
openPost-apocalypse sci-fi movie where men hunt virgins Film
I don't remember where I saw this, but I think it was a 1990s or 2000s film, possibly 1980s. I must have seen this over ten years ago. It looked like a very low-budget B-movie. The costumes looked very cheap and the acting was terrible. The introduction showed a post-apocalypse kind of society where men hunted down virgin women. The women were stereotypically dressed in all white costumes. The men were hunting the virgins to use them for trading (for slavery or forced marriage). I remember a man chasing a woman (dressed in white) through a desert looking area with dirt and boulders. She was desperately trying to escape him. He caught up to her and wanted to rape her instead of capturing her, which would have ruined her value since she would no longer be a virgin.
I only remember watching a few minutes of the beginning and I thought it looked like a terrible film so I stopped watching. Since then I have grown a certain appreciation for low-budget B-movies so I'm interested to know what it is. It is possible that it was one of those "skin flicks" they used to show on Cinemax, Showtime, and HBO late at night in the 1990s and 2000s, but really I could have seen this anywhere.
openKorean Movie- Good Girl + Bad Girl Film
This was a movie on You Tube back in 2010-2011 when they weren't as on top of pirated material.
I remember watching a lot of Korean movies around the same time (like Jenny and Juno) but I'm not 100% sure this was Korean.
There were two girls at the same school, one was a goody-two shoes stereotype, with straight hair, she was a really good student, and a "bad girl" who slacked off and maybe rode a motorcycle/moped and had this layered wavy hair and bangs.
I think the smart girl was in charge of tutoring the rebel girl, or they had a pact to get one girl's grades up while making the nerdy girl cool or something.
They used to hang out at the same place, a cafe maybe, red background. I think they originally met up there to study.
In the end they both had the same hair cut like the rebel girl, and maybe both sped off on the motorcycle.
I wish I had more to go off of but this was 10+ years ago when I was really young.

Edited by cantrememberopenRoad movie / action thriller (probably 1990s)? Film
I'm looking for an American road movie / action film / thriller, probably from (the second half of) the 1990s. My memory is very fuzzy and unreliable, but I dimly remember the following:
- a family travels by (a red?) car and is harassed by a (biker / rocker?) gang on a desert highway
- some family members (mother and/or daughter?) are kidnapped or tricked to come with the gang
- father sets out to rescue them(?)
- mother has short, dark brown hair
- "realistic" thriller (no comedy / horror / scifi / fantasy)
- set in USA
- climax: shooting in a biker bar(?)
- some similarties to "Breakdown" / "Kalifornia", but none of the two; probably lower budget, no famous actors (at least I don't remember any), possibly a tv movie.
Thanks a lot for any hint!
Edited by clueless66openSome movie from a long time ago. Film
I dont really know the details, all I remember is that the main character was a boy, it was animated, it took place in medieval times, and there was a scene where a man was trapped under a giant church bell.
openDetective is investigating a crime scene in the rain, finds dead woman in barrel Film
Film is definitely American. Not a foreign film. All characters speak American English. The scene has a gritty bluish sort of color grading from what I remember. It's raining and very overcast.
The detective mentions that the killer purposefully dumped the body right before/during the rain so the evidence would wash away. He may have mentioned something about a storm/flood coming in and the killer planned around that weather event. I'm not very certain about that part though.
As I recall the police were called out because a worker in an excavator/crane/bulldozer was working at the landfill/garbage dump, and he was moving trash or barrels/scooping things up when the barrel came open, revealing the woman's body inside. I think the excavator vehicle is still there near the body's location while the scene happens. The woman's body (as I recall) is stuffed pretty tight inside. She may have been a prostitute but I can't recall that very well.
Detective yells at police:
For standing around instead of hurrying up with collecting evidence before it washes away.
AND/OR:
For walking all over the crime scene (I vaguely recall he verbally reprimands them in regards to them either getting their shoe prints all over the place OR because they're basically dirtying up the crime scene that's already a mess due to the rain)
Detective is white male, in his 30's-40's, maybe early 50's at most.
detective has to make his way carefully down the hillside because it's very steep and muddy. I recall him wearing regular shoes/dress shoes that got all muddy. While he gets down the hill he definitely at some point slips/falls/slides down in the mud.
The crime scene is POSSIBLY a garbage dump area and not landfill (maybe that's semantics but it could help.)
She was possibly stuffed inside some other object like a fridge but I'm almost positive it was an oil barrel
I think the detective is wearing a darker colored suit, and has no hat or any rain gear. He's ill-prepared for the rain and the muddy terrain. Don't quote me on this part though.
The police are wearing rain gear and I believe at least one of the cops has that waterproof coverings for his police cap/hat
openGuy willingly undergoes clinical death to hunt down ghostly homicidal maniac. Film
There was this black comedy slasher movie where a homicidal maniac's ghost kept murder people after his death. The protagonist in order to stop him willingly enters a freezer to enter a state of clinical death / out-of-body experience, in which state he can actually combat the maniac. The film ends with both the protag and the maniac, including the maniac's equally ax-crazy girlfriend and the protag's dead best friend in a cloudy tunnel to heaven, which then turns into a gruesome fleshy thing which takes the bad guys to Hell.
American, mid-2000s. A crass comedy about a teenager boy who gains the power to make his lies come true. His life falls apart because of the unforeseen consequence of said lies.
One lie was that his mum and dad were a rock star and a fashion designer, which leads to them filing for divorce.
Any help is great. Thanks.
