As well as most of Europe (Certainly the UK, anyway). Really, the countries they don't have a license for at least one show for are pretty obscure.
And sine you come from the US, that means that the Funimation's streaming channel is also an option, though I don't think they have many Tastes Like Diabetes series on their books.

Yu hav nat sein bod speeling unntil know. (cacke four undersandig tis)the cake is a lie!If I try to watch stuff on Crunchyroll on my iPod Touch will it try to download an app?
I forgot to mention that an iPod Touch is the only thing I have in the way of a computer for the most part at the moment, so I can't watch video sites with flash based video players, and I can't watch Hulu because it requires a subscription to view on mobile devices.
The answers are 1123, Michael Jackson, that creepy dog downstairs, infinity, Axl Rose, keeps your pants up, and Nethaniel and Superfly.~checks~ It does want you to download an app, but it is a free one. In other words, you download it for free and you get the equivalent of the free online/computer version.

You can find these on You Tube and various anime streaming sites. In opinion, Lilpri is the cutest. I just want give the main characters a hug.

don’t call me nerdy [img][/imgHi, first time asking for recs. Can anyone recommend me work, preferable non-shojo or josei, where the protagonist is in a relationship or gets in one sooner rather than at the end of the series?
Eureka Seven. The relationship is the whole point.
Wise Papa Smurf, corrupted by his own power. CAN NO LEADER GO UNTAINTED?!When I go to the site it asks if I want the app, if I ignore that it goes to the mobile site. If I try to open up a show will it download an app? I'm sorry I get easily confused.
The answers are 1123, Michael Jackson, that creepy dog downstairs, infinity, Axl Rose, keeps your pants up, and Nethaniel and Superfly.Hello All:
I'm interested in finding a good series with some serious Mindscrew/Mood Whiplash/Gainax Ending - basically something along the lines of School Days, which I just finished, or Eva - not necessarily in terms of subject matter, but in terms of mind-screwiness. Heck, even something like Trigun, where midway through the series things take a turn for the melodramatic. Any thoughts?
Let's see...
- Boogiepop Phantom
- Mawaru Penguindrum
- Princess Tutu (to a certain degree, but it's a great series anyway)
- Puella Magi Madoka Magica
- Revolutionary Girl Utena
- Satoshi Kon anime in general (though Tokyo Godfathers doesn't fit quite as well as the rest.)
- Serial Experiments Lain
- Steins Gate (not as mind-screwy as the rest, but there is noticable mood whiplash at around the halfway point.)
That should be enough for now, I believe.

My standard Anime Theme song game variant rules: [Censored by ACTA]I'm looking for some magical girl reverse harem series in the vein of Kamichama Karin Chu and Barajou No Kiss. Any suggestions?
Thanks, flygon! Definitely going to check out Penguindrum, and actually Boogiepop Phantom, Steins;Gate and Madoka Magika have been on my list for a while, so I'll give it a bump. I LOVE Satoshi Kon, but have seen all his stuff already, but the fact that you mention him gives me a lot of faith in the rest of your recs. Thanks again!

I was just directed here (TOTALLY still getting used to the forums), so here's a copy-paste of my original post:
So, I've only recently gotten into anime and manga, and I've been reading and watching as quickly as I can. I've read bits and pieces of Hetalia Axis Powers, and the first forty chapters of One Piece, but the inaccessibility of the former and insane length of the latter made it difficult to continue.
My top two are Death Note and Liar Game. I've finished Death Note, and I'm almost finished (well, finished meaning caught up) with Liar Game, so I'm going to need something else to read. Overall, I've noticed I prefer manga with a lot of puzzles, gambits and plot twists—the more intelligent the characters are, the better. For example, I had little patience for Fairy Tail.
So, if you could tell me what your favorites are and describe them, I'd love to know what you all think I should check out next!
Umm. Future Diary is probably the main one to come to mind - it's very similar to Death Note in a lot of ways, though not nearly as gambit-y as it or Liar Game, but while the protagonist is pretty much average in cunning a lot of the supporting characters are quite clever.
The first story arc at least of Kaiji is also very similar to Liar Game - enough so that it's plausible they could share a setting.
I've heard tell that Akagi and Gantz fall into this same general heading as well, though I can't say from experience.
Outside of the manga and anime category, I think you might also like Leverage and The Prestige. :)

The Revolution Will Not Be TropeableThe World God Only Knows is really good.
Anime or manga would be fine, but just note that the manga is still considered superior, plus it goes on further and gets into some longer and more interesting arcs.
The basic premise is that there is a guy whose life is games. He accidentally gets into a contract with hell, and now he must use his gaming knowledge to get real girls to fall in love with him.
Code Geass is one of my all time favourites. Basic premise is that an exiled prince vows to overthrow his country and his father, the ruler of the country, and to this end acquires the power to command anyone to do one thing (Geass). It's full of gambits and loads and loads of characters.
You might like Manga.FullmetalAlchemist. It's considered the epitome of shounen (by me at least). The premise is interesting but not what I'd use to sell the show, so the only thing I'll say is that it's very well plotted.

@ Noaqiyeum, Ultimately Subjective
Thank you for the recommendations! I'll definitely check them out. I've heard a bit about Fullmetal Alchemist, but it's always sounded more like a fantasy adventure then the other things I've enjoyed, so I haven't really read it yet. And Future Diary sounds very good.
And Noaqiyeum, I love Leverage. :)

Haha, fantastic. :D
The Revolution Will Not Be TropeableDefinitely check out the Liar Game's author's other manga, One Outs. I hate baseball utterly and completely, but the Liar Game-esque mind games held my attention throughout. For something similar, give Eyeshield21 a try. For traditional mystery fairplay whodunits, get Detective Conan, Kindaichi Shonen No Jikenbo, and Tantei Gakuen Q. I haven't read this, but you might enjoy Doubt. Also, this is technically more of a visual novel, but try Dangan Ronpa.

Um, hi. I'm trying to find an anime to watch, but I don't really know that much about different animes, so I don't know which one I would really like the most. I'm a long-time fan of Inuyasha, and I just recently got into Axis Powers: Hetalia, and, uh, that's it, really. I tried watching Spirited Away, but that didn't really do much for me.
Also, if it's not too much to ask, I'd prefer a relatively shorter series, like, because one of my main problems with Inuyasha was, in the earlier episodes, whenever it got to a climax where Kagome potentially could have been killed, I just thought, "Oh, gee, I wonder if they're going to kill of the main character [x] episodes in."
Oh, and, uh, just another small detail, I would kind of prefer it if the series could be found on YouTube. N-not because I'm too cheap to buy it or get it on Netflix, or anything, just a minor preference.
So... any suggestions?

YOU'LL PAY FOR THE WHOLE SEAT, BUT YOU'LL ONLY NEED THE EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEDGE!!!There's a number of places other than You Tube where you can watch anime for free. Some of them are even legal. Just saying
For recommendations... I don't have enough to go off of. What sort of things do you like in general?
Can anyone think of an anime series where the main character (or one of the principal main characters) is female, has a strong action role, and is minimally sexualized in the context of the show (there may be a bit of fanservice but it is mostly irrelevant to the plot)?
@Glenn Magus Harvey, Fullmetal Alchemist, Angel Beats, Code Geass, Baccano, Tiger And Bunny. Limited to action with a non-sexualised female main character.
@Twenty Two Sevenths, your request is very general and I'm resisting the temptation to reccommend all my favourites... But Code Geass season 1 is on You Tube... But I guess you'd need some way to watch Season 2. All of Gurren Lagann is on there too... Well, it would really be good to have more information, otherwise I can't recommend anything with any confidence. If you just want our top recs though you could say that, but then you'll probably get like everything.

@ Glenn Magus Harvey,
Claymore should work for you.
I think it is a hour at most the delay of new releases for premium users and a week for free users. Crunchyroll is also available in Latin America.
