Depends on the game, really. If the game encourages it (Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, for example) then I would, but for the most part I just do whatever the most efficient thing. That said, I do enjoy reading whatever depraved things Dwarf Fortress and Crusader Kings players inflict on the in-game characters.
