This thread is for requesting edits or unlocks to Locked Pages or for requesting locks. It can also be used for technical requests to moderators such as:
- creating new pages in the Main/ and other restricted namespaces without going through Trope Launch Pad
- moving discussion pages
- moving reviews
Please keep the following guidelines in mind:
- Check Locked Pages and Permanent Red Link Club first. They can provide guidance on what are good and bad requests.
- Include working links in your request to the page(s) in question.
- If asking for edits, state your changes exactly as they should appear on the page, including proper Example Indentation, namespacing, and pothole and quote formatting. And make sure that what you want to add is actually a valid example.
- We do not edit archived articles, even to correct links.
- If you need to have the capitalization of a page title or namespace of a work fixed, ask here.
- If you need to remove a ghost wick, go here.
- To request a page to be moved along with its history, go here.
- Some locked pages have ongoing cleanup threads, like Complete Monster (Thread), Five-Man Band (Thread), and Magnificent Bastard (Thread). Other than purely technical requests, edits to these pages ought to be discussed in these threads first.
- Also, we do not do direct edits (other than changing wicks) to Magnificent Bastard or Complete Monster example lists. Rather, you need to do the edit to a sandbox page that follows the format Sandbox.Magnificent Bastard<Name of the example subpage> and Sandbox.Monster<Name of the example subpage> (e.g for Monster.Disney it's Sandbox.Monster Disney) and ask for it to be swapped in on Saturday for Magnificent Bastard and on Monday for Complete Monster.
- Inappropriate pages that keep being recreated, pages banned under The Content Policy and subpages that are disallowed (like Headscratchers pages for tropes) are valid reasons for requesting page locks.
NOTE: Edited with OP's permission.

And has ccoa become a moderator now? Odd.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanIn that case, Know the Staff needs updating.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanTypo on Complaining About Shows You Dont Like: The fourth paragraph says "Slipping a review into an example is a also bad idea." Looks like a couple words got flipped.
Rhymes with "Protracted."Got that one. And Know The Staff, from earlier.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Actually, I had a PM conversation with ccoa about that. S/he said that it's more likely that the notoriously buggy moderator tag got screwed up when Eddie reprogrammed something to allow Willbyr and ccoa to see the mod subforum and that s/he hasn't become a full moderator.
Hence, I changed back Know the Staff for the time being, as there is no evidence of an out-of-the-blue promotion just yet. Saying this FYI.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanThink we need an edit for Complete Monster: Mass Effect.
- The Illusive Man, from the start of the game, had been painted as being morally grey. From the time he leads Shepard into a trap however things begin to go downhill:
- At the end of the game he desperately wants to harness the Collector's technology, even with the knowledge of how horrifying it is.
- In Overlord he is against disrupting the work of fellow monster Gavin Archer, who had forced his autistic brother to communicate with the Geth in the most horrific way imaginable, something even a Renegade Shepard wants him dead for.
- In Mass Effect 3 The Illusive Man and Cerberus had become indoctrinated and begin waging war against the galaxy who are already trying to survive against the Reapers, even killing off characters from previous games.
- The comics reveal that he deliberately released a brutal zombie plague to take over a space station.
- For bonus points Martin Sheen (who played the voice and modeled the character) not only says he wouldn't trust Illusive Man, but thinks he's a horrible person. If Sheen had read half the details about him...
Did you run that through this thread? Just to make sure there's agreement that he qualifies.
