This thread is for requesting edits or unlocks to Locked Pages or for requesting locks. It can also be used for technical requests to moderators such as:
- creating new pages in the Main/ and other restricted namespaces without going through Trope Launch Pad
- moving discussion pages
- moving reviews
Please keep the following guidelines in mind:
- Check Locked Pages and Permanent Red Link Club first. They can provide guidance on what are good and bad requests.
- Include working links in your request to the page(s) in question.
- If asking for edits, state your changes exactly as they should appear on the page, including proper Example Indentation, namespacing, and pothole and quote formatting. And make sure that what you want to add is actually a valid example.
- We do not edit archived articles, even to correct links.
- If you need to have the capitalization of a page title or namespace of a work fixed, ask here.
- If you need to remove a ghost wick, go here.
- To request a page to be moved along with its history, go here.
- Some locked pages have ongoing cleanup threads, like Complete Monster (Thread), Five-Man Band (Thread), and Magnificent Bastard (Thread). Other than purely technical requests, edits to these pages ought to be discussed in these threads first.
- Also, we do not do direct edits (other than changing wicks) to Magnificent Bastard or Complete Monster example lists. Rather, you need to do the edit to a sandbox page that follows the format Sandbox.Magnificent Bastard<Name of the example subpage> and Sandbox.Monster<Name of the example subpage> (e.g for Monster.Disney it's Sandbox.Monster Disney) and ask for it to be swapped in on Saturday for Magnificent Bastard and on Monday for Complete Monster.
- Inappropriate pages that keep being recreated, pages banned under The Content Policy and subpages that are disallowed (like Headscratchers pages for tropes) are valid reasons for requesting page locks.
NOTE: Edited with OP's permission.

12045: Which part of the Ozai entry?
edited 6th Oct '15 6:54:05 AM by ACW
CM Dates; CM Pending; CM DraftsRequest to clean up: Pending Gods.
Remove:
- Entries of Deities whose tropers have their own sandboxes in the Pending Gods 2 page.
Main. They Wasted A Perfectly Good Character needs its Index switched on.
That one's done.
@ACW: I think he means the line: "Even after his downfall he stills tries to manipulate his son Zuko into being a tyrant like himself." I put that in to show that he is evil even after losing his political and bending power.
EDIT: A slight rewrite for Matthew Shrieve from Arrow:
- General Matthew Shrieve, the Big Bad of the flashback sequences during season 3, initially appears in The Return" as a reasonable and helpful man, who frees Oliver Queen and the Yamashiros from A.R.G.U.S services, after they stop the Omega virus from being sold on the Black Market. However in "Nanda Parbat", he takes the virus for himself, before usurping Amanda Waller as head of A.R.G.U.S, and sending a squad of soldiers to attack Oliver and the Yamashiros, including young Akio. In "The Fallen" we see that Shrieve perceives China as an economic threat, so he plans to release the virus onto the public, and so distributes more of the virus, under the pretense that it's a vaccine. Akio is infected in "This is Your Sword", so Oliver and Maseo confront Shrieve for a possible cure. Shrieve personally gives them the medicine before revealing that it was insulin for his diabetes and it was a ruse to get them killed.

Main. The Wiki Rule needs its Index switched on.
Can the following be added to "Not If They Enjoyed It" Rationalization under Literature.
- Ana has a number of orgasms during the rape in Chapter 12 of Fifty Shades of Grey. This is presented as equalling consent. Apparently Ana's unaware that orgasm can happen during rape—or that it doesn't mean that you've consented to anything. This is also Christian Grey's rationalization in Chapter 16 after he spanks and then screws Ana as punishment for daring to roll her eyes at him, despite Ana telling him repeatedly that, whatever her physical response, she "didn't like it" and "would rather that [he] didn't do it again."

DTH, save for that Complete Monster request. For the sake of my limited time, I've created a split off sandbox Pending Gods that should have the entries removed which already are on Pending Gods 2. Then it can be swapped against the main Pending Gods page.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanDouble Standard Rape: Female on Male: In the Firefly example, please change Our Mrs. Reynolds so that the episode name is displayed in apostrophes as is the standard, not italics.
You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"At Comic Books, for Uber, please replace the third entry with the following:
- As for the Übers, Markus Jung, codename Siegfried, is one of only 3 battleship-class Übers, which are even stronger than the regular tank-class Übers. Violent and brutal, Markus murdered his first Jewish man as a young boy. As an adult, Markus is a brutal sadist, butchering unarmed prisoners of war and civilians alike. Despised by his two fellow Battleships, Markus takes sheer delight in violence and commits war crimes with a massive grin on his face, showing why he is Hitler's favorite soldier.

CM Dates; CM Pending; CM DraftsAdd the WesternAnimation/ namespace to Main.Bugs Bunny on Drunkard's Walk.
Slight grammar cleanup for the Scarface entry at Video Games L To Z:
- Scarface: The World Is Yours: Besides Sosa (who was also a monster in the film), we have Nacho "El Gordo" Contreras, a rich drug lord who has business in Miami's downtown and islands. In addition to human trafficking, he liked to beat women and then dump the bodies to the sharks For the Evulz. He also forced several people to work in his illegal business.
Could we please change the sentance that is on the Wallbangers and Dethroning moment of Death Battle to make them sounds less like the fandom is always complaining and in the wrong ?
Maybe something like: "Although Ben and Chad (Wizzard and Boomstick) sometimes make mistaes, those page are locked to avoid an Edit War."
And maybe restore them to what they were before if possible. To keep the entries from disapearing.

Even at the first request ?
I agree with it, for the record.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanIt's only a dig at the fandom if you're one of the people to whom it applies. Everyone else agrees with it wholeheartedly. It was more strongly worded when I originally put it up, by the way.

"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Also, if you keep asking this question over and over, despite being answered categorically the last time, you'll be banned.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Understood. I just hoped to have someone else's opinion on the matter.
I won't ask it anymore. sorry.
YMMV.Mylene Farmer needs its page type changed to "a subpage"; current is probably "a work" since the YMMV warning appears for each trope.
It was set to "creator". Fixed.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"@cricri: That notice has been up for a few weeks. By now the text has had time to have been thoroughly discussed on the private mod board by mods and admins, and it is what it is.
Before the notice was put up, the subject of who got "robbed" was coming up at least every ten days or so on ATT and, when the pages were locked, here. And multiple tropers were sick of it.
It's the way it is now, and asking to have it changed is not going work.
Coming back to where you started is not the same as never leaving. -Terry Pratchett
We could be of more assistance if you'd tell us which page. Like, say, with a link.
