Weird dreams

I stopped at a very drab, somewhat run-down looking hotel that was apparently run by vampires. Somehow, I found this out by investigating a series of strange murders that happened inside; none of them had anything vampire-y about them. After that I was running around looking for things vampires were weak to in the hotel (I have no idea how that's supposed to work), and found nothing (though I did find several office-type meeting rooms). This was made rather difficult by the fact that the place was built like a maze and for some reason I kept coming back to the lobby. I seem to recall asking part of the staff to direct me so I could find my way around the place. Eventually (possibly during that last incident) the vampires found out and punished me by cutting off parts of my fingers. I specifically remember which parts I lost; the tip of my ring finger and the middle finger from the first joint down, both on my right hand.

The day after I had a fairly disjointed dream involving a heavily-atmospheric game about magic deer, probably inspired by The Endless Forest. I was going through old blogs I started when I was playing it and going back through my old haunts, and at one point restarting a lush forest garden. Several people took me aside at various points to give me enlightening speeches about life, none of which I can remember.

It took me a while to realize that my dream of me being a Ambiguous Gender (servant?) to a Duchess, in a court that was slowly slipping into insanity was...

A High Fantasy, Gender Fliped version of Twelfth Night. And then it went Off the Rails (Due to forgetting pieces of the play).

On a side note, somehow, a Megaton Punch became a Chekhov's Skill.

What's next? Romeo And Juliet? Wait... In high school English, I played Tybalt.

I've been having disturbed sleep recently, probably due to both (1) it's quite hot at night here and (2) just weird dreams. Last night I woke up twice, as I remember having a dream where I was in America and I was being (shown) where my ancestors used to live and part of that involved falling down quite a way. I tend to freak out if I have falling dreams and wake up. Just as a point I am actually British, which is why most of the time my dreams make no fucking sense

Last night I had three short but surreal dreams, since I woke up twice during early morning.

• I wasn't in this dream, I was just an omnipresent witness of what was going on. Two teenagers (a boy and a girl) were reuniting in a house (it looked to be the girl's). They were playing video games and then the girl asked him to take a bath together. Before the guy answered, I saw the scene of an older man driving a car towards the house, likely the girl's father. By the time the two teenagers were opening the shower, the man entered the house. At this point I heard the voice of my brother saying: "What do you think will happen now? Will he see the other two in the bathroom, or will he just go to his room directly?" I woke up before either thing would happen.
• My sister asked me to review a career-end project from someone else because, for some reason, I was given the task to be the thesis advisor; I reviewed the first two chapters and decided to rest. When my sister saw I wasn't done yet, she screamed at me saying I had to finish reviewing "NOW". I didn't recall having to finish reviewing it that day (I was assuming I had the entire week), and then my mother asked her to calm down and asked me to buy some foodstuffs. It was still morning (7 or 8 am, judging by the tone of the sky). I walked some distance to the northwest of my house and woke up sometime after that.
• I was watching an episode of Pokémon. Apparently, it was a very late one because Ash wasn't with any of his known friends anymore, but at some point near a grassy park with waterfalls he found a brown-haired girl and the two agreed to travel together. Many scenes happened afterward, including the two having lunch together, playing hide-and-seek among the trees of the park and taking a bath in swimsuit near the falls. They even shared a kiss in the lips when they were walking when it was sunset! They were later seen among lots of people in the beach, and Team Rocket was planning something evil as usual. All fine and sweet, but then my 36-year-old cousin entered my room and started interrupting me, asking me constantly what video games to give to her son as a present, and asking me what video games I used to play when I was a child; I tried not to lose focus on what I was watching, only to see that people in swinsuits started being blurred as if to be censored (so a bath between two opposite-sex children and a kiss was fine? >_>). Then came the moment when my cousin asked me if Mortal Kombat was appropiate for her son. Then her son entered, started making mischiefs as usual, ..... ugh, it only got uglier until I woke up.

I'm intrigued I had these dreams since 1) it's been very long since last time I fell in love with someone, 2) it's been fairly long since I graduated and I didn't have to worry about any thesis work anymore, and 3) it's been longer since last time I watched Pokémon on TV.

I was eating dinner with others at a restaurant...then I decided to look around and find that the restaurant had a virtual reality room, and I went in. There were a bunch of people in there as well. Despite the boys retaining their looks, the girls were virtually re-imagined as Disney Princesses, so I consequently got re-imagined as Jasmine, but with a white dress instead of her blue outfit (I'm certain she wore a white dress at one point?) before I joined the others, including a couple girls who were re-imagined as Tiana and Ariel (presumably in their franchise dresses) before the last one to join us was a girl re-imagined as Belle. We started playing, occasionally fighting some virtually generated nasty enemies (including a handful of Disney villains), but for some reason, a timer would show up and if the timer ran out, someone would get pretty nasty consequences (and sometimes scream in return). It got pretty late, so I got out and decided to search for the others I originally ate dinner with.

I came across my mother at the entrance to the restaurant and asked her if she was ready to go home. She said "No" because the restaurant was literally connected to a hotel that she booked a room for, and I found out I was staying there; I was horrified at not bringing my copy of a book that I usually read (or any clothes, travelling material, whatnot, for that matter). But at the same time, I was delighted to stay at the restaurant and return to the virtual reality room to help my buddies continue playing there.

...I swear, whenever there's anything pertaining to Disney Princesses in my dreams, there always has to be girls representing them and not the actual Princesses themselves.

I was trapped in a car with some of my classmates because there were Uncanny Valley skeleton robots outside. One reached its head through the window and I woke up with a scream.

Same old same old; I was in a house I didn't recognise- it was a nice house, but the most memorable thing about it was a particularly expensive type of spinning wheel in one room- trying to get the people who lived there ready to leave before something got there.

I wish they would tell me what the 'something' is. It haunts me terribly, this never-ending feeling of unbearable horror being just around the corner, but not knowing enough to prepare.

I dream up what would be the plot to the worst sex comedy ever.

I decide to lose my virginity for good. So to avoid ruining my reputation I´d take home a hobo, using the logic that no one would believe a hobo´s bragging. So I went out to shanty town. There I found a youngish looking guy in a plaid fanel holey shirt. I persueded him to come home with me. I spent the rest of the dream trying to smuggle him into my home in the most convolted way possible. By the time I was alone with the hobo we were both too exhausted to do anything.

Using an airdropped LAV-25 to eliminate a magical girl series generic Monster of the Week.

The Reactive Armor and APFSDS-T ammo saw use, but the IR smoke didn't.

I had a dream where Kermit's voice actor died because he ate a slice of the world's biggest cake.

• Charlie Brown is tasked to reassemble a human face marked “Karen Carpenter.” He is given a pair of eyeballs and a sheet of bloody human skin. I somehow sense this is a dream (though I’m not quite lucid) and I just want this horrible imagery to stop. I am sitting up in my bed, and a voice is narrating all this grotesque imagery to me as black-and-gray graphic-arts-like crescent patterns appear in the air in front of me. I must be in a very deep sleep as it takes me forever to wake up!
• I am listening to this very cool song on the radio. It’s an epic length song by a young, piano-playing singer-songwriter I’ve never heard of before and it’s called “Phones.” I think it must be really remarkable for pop radio to latch onto a seven-minute song. It’s structured a bit like “Bohemian Rhapsody,” with the first part being a slow ballad. The second part is the “scherzo movement,” with a sarcastically jaunty feel and and insistent “Pick up a phone” refrain. The music video to this part features the performer (who has long, brown hair like Kate Bush) growing ever more entangled in old-style coiled telephone cords. Sadly, I wake up before I can hear the dramatic conclusion. A reviewer states, “We’ve heard songs about depression before, and songs about being depressed in high school even more so, but never quite so beautifully expressed as this...”

I was at some camp near Gaylord, Michigan (possibly Camp Kinawind, the church camp I went to as a kid), when I found an old math book. I was struggling to solve some problems in it because they were using a very contrived method. I turned to the back of the book and found that it had pieces of an old phone book in it, which despite being from a Gaylord phone book, listed a Starbucks in Royal Oak, Michigan. The weird thing was that the phone book was from the 80s, and I was doubting that there was a Starbucks anywhere in Michigan back then. Somehow I had gained the ability to teleport, and ended up in Royal Oak at that address that was listed, only to find an office complex there. Something else happened while I was there, but I forget other than it made me cry.

I walked on and kept finding old road signs for highways that don't exist in Detroit anymore, like US-16, US-25, and M-4. I kept trying to take pictures of them with my phone, but none were turning out. Somehow I ended up wandering into a Rite Aid and buying two pens. I then kept walking until I ended up in Troy, where they were building a new airport. Some old roads had gotten ripped out for the runway, but there were still road signs for the now no longer existing roads. Finally, I ended up in a bookstore that was also selling candies and sweets, and it had a fireplace. I kept wanting to eat some of the candies, but I didn't have any money to buy them, and I think the cashier told me I could eat some anyway since they had made too many. The last part I remember is finding a book of Over the Hedge comic strips there, which included some historical info on the strip and some concept sketches of RJ and Verne.

I had two dreams last night:

• In the first one, I was in Pokemon Rumble World driving myself crazy trying to catch Lugia. I found him again, and this time when I did, he complimented me on my persistence and...we merged together so I was now Lugia. Now I was able to drive people crazy trying to catch me. (I can blame this on driving myself crazy trying to catch Lugia in the actual game in real life right before going to sleep last night.)

• The other dream was some sort of crossover between Indiana Jones and Star Wars, and in it I was Jar Jar Binks. Jones and I were looking for a special artifact that had been lost by the Jedi a long time ago, and it was in the hands of some bad guys. We wound up splitting up, and a bunch of bad guys jumped me. Fortunately, I was able to beat them by spinning and whacking them with my long ears. After that, I wound up stumbling upon the artifact myself. The dream then cut to me and Indiana being congratulated by the Jedi, and I wound up meeting a female Gungan. Then I woke up.

I had a dream about the final battle with the Eldritch Abomination that's going to cause the Cataclysm. For some strange reason, though, the path to it was right above my second house in Wisconsin. It also involved some rather ornate-looking Space Elevators made of black marble. They weren't really "space," though; they just went very very high up into the stratosphere. On each stop between lifts was one more guardian for my friends and me to fight before the final battle. We found ourselves back on the ground after the battle was ended. I didn't get to see the battle itself, though. >.<

I had a dream last night that I was taking a hike in the woods next to some train tracks and ran into Matthew Mc Conaughey and a camera man, and he explained that he was filming a Found Footage film by himself. He asked me to be in it, and afterwords we went to Mc Donald's for lunch or something. He was pretty cool, except he mumbled a lot.

I had two short dreams last night:

• It was cloudy morning in my city, and whaddya think? It was the set for a Korean soap opera! They were building two schools just for the shot, and it was supposedly about a boy from one school falling in love with a girl from the other. Also, looking up above in the sky I saw a floating observatory that was apparently the home of the soap opera's Big Bad, though I never caught wind of what he wanted to do or whether or not he had any relation to the main characters.
• It was cloudy noon in my city, and whaddya think? My family and I were going to a trip to another state! We planned to start the travel by going to the west frontier of the vity, but when we approached there we witnessed a really messy accident between a red car and a truck. I stressed my family not to stop to watch the scene so we drove westward... but when we were aiming to cross a bridge, the car's axis dealigned and we went directly to the ditch that was under the bridge. It was flooded so we ended up drowning.

When I was 14 I dreamed I was a succubus. Won´t go into details because of the mods. I then shifted perspective to my normal self and I was watching a porno starring myself of what I just did in the previous half of the dream.

Had a really cool dream about a Yu-Gi-Oh party game in the vein of Mario Party and Sonic Shuffle. It was for a console, not sure which one, and you could be one of a bunch of Yu-Gi-Oh characters, including the Toei anime cast as alternate costumes. (I had just unlocked the Toei!Bakuras.)

I don’t really remember the rules but it looked really cool. One of the boards was Kaibaland and another was Ancient Egypt, with a special section for tombs, the palace, and Kul Elna and stuff. Some stuff was manga-based while other stuff was anime-based.

I remember Thief King Bakura being playable too, which was cool.

Your user icon makes me think of Lady Fuchsia.

Man, even in my dreams I can't win in Splatoon. I was winning, and then I lost :(

Last night I happened to dream of Smash. I was constantly defeated by the CPU in Smash Tour. I'm really having a hard time with that mode in Real Life as well.

So there IS a dream thread. Convenient.

Anyways, just last night I dreamt of a whole scenario; doctors and nurses who failed horribly to perform their jobs were sent to a piece of land to go die in. A constant green fog obscured everything, and people were stripped naked and sent to multiple different execution stations. Like a bunch of spinning blades that a rope descended you down into feet first.

I think I just dreamt a Rob Zombie movie, guys.

I saw a Vore outside my house. I feel like I had that dream before.

I had a dream about getting an Unusual hat in TF 2. Also something about aliens I guess.
