During the investigation of recent hollers in the Complete Monster thread, it's become apparent to the staff that an insular, unfriendly culture has evolved in the Complete Monster and Magnificent Bastard threads that is causing problems.
Specific issues include:
- Overzealous hollers on tropers who come into the threads without being familiar with all the rules and traditions of the tropes. And when they are familiar with said rules and traditions, they get accused (with little evidence) of being ban evaders.
- A few tropers in the thread habitually engage in snotty, impolite mini-modding. There are also regular complaints about excessive, offtopic "socializing" posts.
- Many many thread regulars barely post/edit anywhere else, making the threads look like they are divorced from the rest of TV Tropes.
- Following that, there are often complaints about the threads and their regulars violating wiki rules, such as on indexing, crosswicking, example context and example categorization. Some folks are working on resolving the issues, but...
- Often moderator action against thread regulars leads to a lot of participants suddenly showing up in the moderation threads to protest and speak on their behalf, like a clique.
It is not a super high level problem, but it has been going on for years and we cannot ignore it any longer. There will be a thread in Wiki Talk
to discuss the problem; in the meantime there is a moratorium on further Complete Monster and Magnificent Bastard example discussion until we have gotten this sorted out.

Lighty: So like this then?
- Black Clover: Rades Spirito is a vicious, vengeful Evil Sorcerer who decides to attack the Kingdom of Clover. Using his curse which enslaves the dead to him, Rades bombards the city with magic blasts, and unleashes his zombies to devour everything and everyone they find. Rades then takes time to mock and terrorize a little girl before trying to kill her as well, only being stopped by Asta's intervention. When Rades reveals his unbelievably petty motivation (he was kicked out of the Magic Knights for using dangerous magic) for wanting Clover destroyed, he proceeds to sneer that "reasons are best when they're simple" and declares his belief that as one with powerful Mana, he is free to do whatever he wants to those weaker than him, even if he is destroying a country and killing everyone inside.

As for Palps,. that might be one of those things where there's a paragraph or so on the CM page but not enough for the YMMV page.

Yeah no one counts from Rebels aside from Palps and Tarkin, who does nothing this season so no expansion of entry for him. Pryce is way too Stupid Evil and pathetic in the show itself and while she does come very close with the civilian masscare in the backstory established in the Thrawn novel, what prevents this from being a Krennic or Phasma situation is that she has a genuine love for her family and sacrificed how they would perceive her to save their lives. And even if that can be discounted, she, as an Imperial officer, would have similar resources as Wat Tambor and the villain of Life Debt, and they both out-heinous her.
Thrawn has too many redeeming qualities and genuine friendships to count.
Palpatine entry should be updated to reflect him sending Vader to Lothal in Season 2, trying to get entry to the World Between Worlds in the final season so he can bend all of existence to his whim. It is implied the time portal to Kanan was a trap to lure Ezra in and he then tries to kill Ezra and Ahsoka. In the finale, he uses a hologram of his younger self to tempt Ezra to let him go into the World Between Worlds once more by showing an alternate timeline where Ezra's parents are still alive(or even to convert him to the Dark Side as he did Anakin as well as getting into the WBW).
Given how Ezra and Thrawn are exiled to unknown regions................I'm hoping they make the threat Thrawn wanted to protect his people from the villain of Rian's trilogy and X-XII, and they can make up for Snoke by making Snoke a frontsman or a low ranking member of this "true" enemy. And I'm also hoping the follow-up to Rebels does some stuff with this plot point.

Giving Papa Palps an extra sentence or two. Wanting to control time is a new one for him. Given enough stories he's gonna end up doing every possible and impossible sin.
At the moment, Episode IX is intended as the Grand Finale of the Skywalker Saga. Though Kathleen Kennedy hasn't completely ruled out more Skywalker Saga films, she has stated that George originally wanted to end at IX, and you know what? For all the crap I give him, I think that would be best. Hashtagreyloforever.
Lighty, what is your opinion regarding La Tenia? Ever since Ravok proposed the cut, he has met much opposition to his continued inclusion. I would like to know your view if you have not already given it.

I'm in favor of cutting Le Tenia. I mean Showgirls for example also has a character who brutally rape a woman and sends her to the hospital yet I wouldn't dare to EP him.

As far as palpatine goes just add a few lines to his clone wars entry as rebels is a direct continuation of that show. Hence it would make sense to put it there.

Judging from what I've learned and read about this guy, how would you feel about adding him in?
Kirby Star Allies: Hyness, the insane and omnicidal head of the Jambastion Cult, was banished to the edge of the universe alongside his followers for worshiping Void Termina, the destroyer of worlds. Oblivious to the loyalty the three Jambastion Mage Generals Francisca, Flamberge, and Zan Partizanne pledge to him, he abuses all three on a regular basis. Hyness introduces himself by performing a ritual to unseal the Jamba Heart, the vessel for Void Termina, and when the ritual results in it breaking into several pieces scattered across the universe, he sends out the three Jambastion Mages to search for the pieces of the Jamba Heart. Once Kirby and friends arrive where he is reassembling the Jamba Heart to complete his ritual, and they defeat Zan Partizanne for the second time, Hyness takes notice, smacks Zan out of his way as he confronts them, and begins an insane Motive Rant about his plans for revenge on the entire universe through Void Termina's resurrection. Over the course of the battle against him, Hyness drains the life force of his own loyal generals to restore his own health whenever he Turns Red. Once he is defeated, Hyness remains defiant, and in one last act of spite against Kirby and the rest of the universe, offers up all three sisters and himself to complete the ritual so that Void Termina can finally achieve its resurrection. In a franchise filled with Affably Evil characters, antagonists with tragic backstories, and Generic Doomsday Villains, Hyness really stands out as the first villain in the otherwise cheerful and heartwarmingly cute Kirby franchise to be completely lacking in the redeeming qualities that flesh out most of the other villains in the games.
