This is the thread we use to talk things over with people who have received a suspension notice. A lot of the time the notice goes out just so we can explain how seriously we take certain things, not because we want the person to feel bad and go away.
If you're suspended, give What to Do If You Are Suspended a read, then post here to begin your appeal. We try to respond to appeals in order via batch posts every few days. If a moderator has responded to your appeal, you will receive a notification in your private messages, even if you're suspended from PMs.

Don'ts
- Don't be rude. Rule 1 applies here, too.
- Don't try to negotiate your suspension outside of this thread, such as by sending Private Messages to moderators or posting elsewhere. Such activity may be thumped or otherwise removed, and may warrant an additional suspension block if it keeps happening. All communications have to take place within this thread.
- Don't respond to other suspended users. This is a place for you to discuss your suspension, not others'.
- Don't post multiple times about your appeal if it hasn't been a few days since your last reply from us, since it makes it more difficult to compose responses. If you've posted, we're likely looking at it, and kindly request you to be more patient.
- Don't make another account to try and get around your suspension. This is called ban evasion and will get you bounced. (Again, read What to Do If You Are Suspended if you don't know what these words mean.)

I was just recently given a suspension for editing for some unknown reason and I am trying to rack my brain as to why it was. The only thing I can think of is adding in a Broken Base entry into Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT! that might have not fit the criteria.
If there is a reason for it, I would be happy to find out so I know what not to do next time.
I'm truly sorry for what I did that got me suspended. I was just so mad at Genndy Tartakovsky that I confused my own opinion for fact. I'll try not to let it happen again. Please let me edit again. Thank you.
Okay. I'm sorry that I was creating junk articles and didn't know it was that. The only reason why I waited such a long time was because I didn't know what to do or my mind was always focused on something else.
Genuinely unsure why I was suspended? Would like to know why, at least.

You got into an edit war in YMMV.Samurai Jack and appear to edit with your dislike of the ending in mind.
In addition, one of the examples you added is for They Just Didn't Care, which is now Creator's Apathy and now requires Word of God acknowledgement to combat complaining that plagued the old trope.

Ohhh...! Yeah, now that I think about it more, I had done that. In all honesty, I actually thought what I was putting down WAS what was considered correct for that sort of trope usage. My bad. I'm sorry for doing that and I'll put more thought into my entries next time I add a trope.

OK, so I need to work on my style to be more formal, & add examples only - just to check, is this rule also strictly enforced in the 'Headscratchers' tabs? From the pages I've read through, it seems like many of the answers, IMO, require explanations or counters in order to settle the questions under consideration.

I'm coming here to resolve a suspension.
I'm sorry that I was troping fanon on Overwatch. I didn't think what I was doing was a problem because it seemed obvious to me. I've been making efforts to improve my editing, such as avoiding Word Cruft, flowery language, and troping things that haven't happened yet, on the wiki and I don't wish to cause any harm. But I guess I just wasn't careful enough. I love troping I don't want to be suspended, so I'll be careful from now on. I'll do my best to only stick to facts and not trope what I think is obvious.
The edits I made were based off this video, which said that the two had a Drinking Contest, and given the other hints, seemed confirmed to me. I didn't mean to cause an incident with it.

~Ultimate Lazer: You were told last time not to add tropes based on fan speculation, Wild Mass Guessing, and whatnot, to the Overwatch article. You apparently failed to get the message, and you've also added a nasty Zero-Context Example habit onto that.
I'm not sure what's so difficult to understand about us saying that trope listings for works should only document what is in the actual work (aside from certain things like Audience Reactions). The fact that you haven't gotten it after being suspended for the exact same thing makes it very hard to justify a third chance.

It was from a lore video that I thought was clearly stating the truth, I never meant to post speculation. I've tried really hard since the latest suspension and with all due respect I've had context to all my examples, not once have I made a ZCE I swear.

~Ultimate Lazer: Taking a look at a few of your more recent edits, I see a few ZCEs, such as the one on Characters.Overwatch Support below:
- Trademark Favorite Food: She loves her tea.
"Loving tea" is not a trope; as written this looks like you're relating an in-joke instead of explaining how the trope is used. I also saw a few examples of Pintsized Powerhouse that cover the "small" part but not the "powerhouse" part.
On Characters.Overwatch Offense, there's the aforementioned Drinking Contest thing, and then there's the Wall of Text you added to Ambiguous Situation based on that example. Study Clear Concise Witty for what's wrong here.
You've got a quality control issue with your writing that you need to fix or we'll have to say goodbye.
