A mid game boss that can Blow You Away

An optional boss used in a bonus round.

A boss who fights you using The Power of Rock. Probably a less annoying version of Kingdom Hearts' Demyx.

Exactly what you'd expect from Kira: You need to watch out for Sheer Heart Attack, tread carefully around the arena (as Killer Queen might have laid down a bomb somewhere), and close the gap between you and him to get in a good shot. He's tricky, and he has some serious firepower, but it won't take more than a few hits to do him in.

The Swarm, which have to get killed off one by one at first, making it a bunch of Goddamned Bats, but as a boss. Once enough are killed, the morph into an Implacable Man and begin a Chase Scene through where you came from, as survival is more important than the treasure you came for. They end up destroying the dungeon, which means evading them causes them to be killed by falling rubble, but you are now locked out of the dungeon, meaning you can't get the treasure, which is required to get the Good Ending. The way around this is to use a Bug Spray on the 2nd phase of the boss, killing them outright. This allows you to get the treasure and exit normally, without the collapse of the building.

That One Boss who attacks with lollipops that can get players stuch or cause an Interface Screw

An optional boss that can be killed or spared as the player wishes. Killing the boss is just For the Evulz, and is usually done either by players who are actively attempting a Genocide Run or equivalent, or by evil-aligned players who wish to get a great deal of 'evil' points - upon killing the boss, your morality takes a sharp downturn into evil. Attacks are likely to be basic and low-damage, so getting killed requires you to actively try and get killed. An achievement is unlocked if you do this.

Sparing the boss is the generally chosen option - not only does it result in a great deal of 'good' morality points, but it also unlocks an area that is otherwise inaccessable, as you will be refused entry (due to a blockade the boss can give the order to clear) should you not have spared the boss. Killing the boss will also cause any allies with you at the time with a 'Good' alignment or 'Noble' personality trait to sever ties with you. Some of your old allies will outright turn hostile toward you, and cannot be spared when you fight them when they are encountered.

He is The Dragon and Herr Doktor and attacks using lab tools and his hundrends of different experiments.

The harder boss rush path to unlock the true ending.

Two words sum up this boss: More Dakka. whether it's energy shots, Interface Screw ink blots, or shooting tentacles that reach across the screen, there is always some sort of attack going off. Is probably either a boss in Mega Man, I Wanna Be the Guy, or Touhou Project.

Midgame boss. Personality is probably something along the lines of a Faux Affably Evil dandy with lots of sarcastic quotable dialogue who is closely connected to the Big Bad. They run what's basically the evil version of Willy Wonka's chocolate factory and once you whittle down their health to zero they fall into a vat of molten chocolate.

A hidden joke boss who only has one or two mentions in the game's lore.

An Eldritch Abomination taking the imperfect form of a starfish. The trick with this boss that they must be fought without the use of sight - the player must rely solely on their hearing when in the battle, as the PC has blinded themselves temporarily to avoid going insane by witnessing the boss's true form.

The Mechanical Abomination final boss of a cyberpunk game that turns out to be Lovecraft Lite halfway through.

A boss in a fantasy game that is an ultimate skill test. The player must use their abilities to their fullest to deal with his area of effect attacks and quick movements. Can be extremely hard or super easy depending on the equipment and weapons used.

A 1 vs. 2 boss fight.

A mini-boss, perhaps one that would linger in an underwater dungeon and has a spin attack.

A post-game boss found in an underwater crystal cave that uses Beam Spam.

It's a touhou boss, not much more needs to be said there.

The boss that you have to fight in a really dark room, and it's a lot harder than it should be, only because you can't see where the boss is half the time.

A secret 8th night for a Spongebob-based FNAF fangame. They are an Implacable Man Eldritch Abomination that can be slowed down by all the tools available from previous nights, plus a few new toys. You have to distract, damage, redirect, and survive until the other animatronics, who have performed a Heel–Face Turn after realizing you're not the one they're after, attack and manage to perform a Taking You with Me Heroic Sacrifice, sending them and the boss to another dimension. You then promptly walk up to your boss the next moment and say that you effing quit, and walk out.

An easy boss with striking similarity to dan hibiki, including the ultimate taunt. However the boss' greatest value is style, and it will track your moves, if you spam a single move or combo too much he'll get a full heal, put you in several combos, and kick your ass. There's an achievement for defeating him in his rage.

A boss you encounter early in the game that soon becomes a playable ally.
