Okay, this sounds like a good thread but it doesn't have a starting trope, so I'll start.
Stand up against pinkwashing, don't fall for propogandaBob was suspected to be under the influence of alcohol when he did something stupid. He was actually sober; he's just tired.

she/her | TRS needs your help! | Contributor of Trope ReportThe workers of the shop have very little to work with, and can't waste the resources to build proper safety rails because they need the metal that badly. It's a post-apocalyptic world they live in, so danger is a hazard occupation just for living.
Marley the crow, the leader of a bird flock, is cruel and vicious, but actually a Jerk with a Heart of Gold; being a small, weak bird among lots of carnivorous mammals requires that.

I am the most suitable partner for Gaia. I have some bad news. You will not make it to Eden. This is the end of your journey. We encounter said cosmic horror, only to find out that is benign in nature. It's basically the same story, but it seeks to help instead of drive mad.
It turns out the sleek look of whatever object it is actually functions into its design, making it not only easy on the eyes, but very practical as well.
The riff only shows up every now and then.
The villain faked it.

"We can handle what is true, for we are already living it."The villain starts monologing, and the Anti-Hero good guy encourages the villain to keep talking, edging closer bit by bit. When the villain gets completely lost in the middle of a Motive Rant or explanation of his plans or tragic backstory or whatever, the hero uses that opportunity and cuts the villain off mid sentence by stabbing him in the throat. Cue the hero commenting on how dumb it is when people stop to talk during a fight, and then walks away.

"We can handle what is true, for we are already living it."
Here's how it goes: One user lists a trope and a situation using the trope, and the next user subverts it.
Note: Subvert does not mean "opposite." It means an outcome you don't expect.
Viewer Gender Confusion Viewers think Alex is a girl because of his long hair and feminine voice; however he is actually a boy.
