Remove Marksman from Hunter. Yeah, he uses a guns, but it not a desirable uses all the time.

Well, guns in this game are primarily used for stunning enemies.

Goddess of the Hunt Artemis is not featured in the Hunter team? Fucking wut!?

I'm planning a Tale of Ascension for Mirei and Mamori and Lady Lady, the focus being a more in-depth exploration of what it'd be like for a mortal to become unwittingly involved with the affairs of the Pantheon, realizing the existence of a multiverse and ascend to divinity themselves.

The tentative synopsis is as follows:

Act 1 has Lady J and Rain Hasumi wake up in a laboratory, find out that Albert Wesker is the one who captured them, and manage to escape, reuniting with Mamori and Mirei again. No sooner than they start trying to regain their bearings then they are attacked by Nemesis T-Type, who's bound and determined to eliminate Wesker's escaped subjects. Despite the Exter's and Liberator's best efforts, Nemesis is too tenacious to defeat; just when all hope seems lost they encounter a couple of Pantheonic deities (likely Chris, Claire, Leon and Jill, who had been tracking Wesker's activities and are investigating why he would send a Nemesis into a populated area). Even with their help, Nemesis is just too powerful to stop, and in desperation Chris calls in for a portal to the Pantheon, which they all use to escape. With no way to follow, Nemesis returns to base, where Wesker is putting the finishing touches on his newest virus: T-Valkyrie.

The beginning of Act 2 focuses mainly on Lady Lady and M&M familiarizing themselves with the Pantheon, meeting gods and trying to figure out what the heck is going on while Chris is working out the debacle of bringing mortals to the Pantheon. Eventually, Wesker unleashes T-Valkyrie into Tootsuki Academy as a field test, resulting in chaos when one of the students transforms into a half-weapon monster upon having a foodgasm and lays waste to everything around her before being brought under control. Chris and his companions go to investigate with Lady Lady and M&M close behind. Fighting their way through a bunch of mutated students and other Bio-Organic Weapons, they meet up with Wesker, who beats the living daylights out of them before escaping. Even so, he can't keep his mouth shut throughout the fight and thus they manage to learn about T-Valkyrie, which combines the T-Virus with the Armed Virus from Lady Lady and M&M's world. The resulting pathogen can infect both men and women, giving the Liberators unbelievable strength on top of the ability to wield Exters. Unfortunately, the individuals whose bodies reject T-Valkyrie become Shattered, who are Exters stuck between Arm and Human form and driven to violence by the intense pain they're in. Further investigation reveals Wesker plans to completely saturate the globe with the virus, and he's hours away from missile deployment...

Act 3 is the assault on Wesker's compound, Lady Lady and M&M fighting alongside the BSAA and their companions in a desperate effort to stop the outbreak. Wesker reveals his secret weapon: Tyrant Exters, who use a dose of chemicals triggered by a dial on their hands to Drive almost instantly. Mamori and Mirei confront Wesker. This fight is much more evenly matched until Wesker gets desperate and has Nemesis drive, turning into a near-invincible suit of Power Armor. Ultimately, Mamori and Mirei use Valkyrie Drive to defeat Wesker, and they destroy his lab and T-Valkyrie along with it. The House of Health and Diseases creates a cure for the Shattered and other infected, and Lady Lady and M&M ascend for their actions in helping to stop Wesker.

This is subject to change, obviously, but it's the basic synopsis. What do you think?

That could work perfectly. Wesker is going to survive the explosion of his laboratory (obvs) because Nemesis's Exter form takes the blast. Afterwards, he could drag himself out of the ruins and limp back to the GUAE, and from there the new division could be created.

@deconstruction

I used the word 'deconstruction' because that's what comes to mind, but I may be misnaming it.

Let me just give an example of what kind of things I want to focus on for Rise of the Valkyrie:

At the beginning of it, Lady Lady, Mamori and Mirei are all mortal, and have no clue of the existence of the Pantheon or the multiverse. How would they take a revelation like that, like finding out that an extradimensional Evilutionary Biologist just popped into their world, and that they were saved from a nigh-invulnerable bioweapon by the gods and goddesses of Survival Horror and Lockpicking? How would they feel if they were suddenly thrown into a crossroads of dimensions, and that they are just one of countless worlds all linked by recurring conventions in fiction?

In all of the other Tales of Ascension, I never really saw it explored. The gods and even the mortals seemed to take it for granted.

Edit: There'll be a couple of Reality Ensues moments in-story as well: Mamori and Mirei don't realize that outside of their world, Transformation Is Not Guaranteed To Be A Free Action. Mirei assumes Wesker will just stand there while she and Mamori suck face in front of him. She is...incorrect in that assumption. They learn from their mistake and Drive BEFORE they approach him in the final battle.

I have a new GUAE subdivision on the making, which would be the GUAE Chemical Warfare. Wesker would be there at some point so the story could ultimately lead to the creation of this group

When you start your story explanation by saying it is a deconstruction, you instantly loose any support to it from me.

What's wrong with deconstruction. It serves an useful purpose and many great works are deconstructions.

I guess you can say there too much deconstruction.

Where's the Engineer when you need him

One thing that this tale should have is wrapping up the leftover plots from the "Project: Alternate!Gentaro" tales (mostly because YHVH is currently a Karma Houdini for his actions with Funny Valentine).

@Grand Disappearance: ...Now that it's nearly one year since i started this story, i have something to said.

...I'm afraid i can't muster any drive for this anymore. (...I know, i said that a lot. Bear with me)

It's kinda embarrasing, but the reason i started this story is that, after reading the Pantheonic Rebellion, i just can't stand how Madoka, not only lose her power and privilage, she also lose her friend after such a tragic battle. So i decide to write a Fix Fic to counter-act that story. Goinf along with it though, i decide to make multiple event story to played out a really fun to think of senario (like the RPG adventure of the Scarlet Devil Mansion and such).

But, i was naive at that time. It's a first time ever that i wrote a novel , on the internet. Through sleepless night and painful battle with my own mind, i graduly learn how to write it.

...Unfortunately, the last thing i learn is that you should never, EVER stop writting, even if you felt tire, unmotivated and sick to the core that it take forever to go to your desired scene. That lesson, though started with just a few day of interval, soon started taking interest like a fucking loan shark until it came one day, started rolling the bill , rob all of my determination and escape to Mexico. And with that, left me alone, broke, and with no relative to let me stayed as i left the case to the L.P.D (Literature Police Department).

Unfortunately, the culprit was never found (some said she have escaped into the water and joined the Loan Shark Secret Society (L3S for short) as an lunchlady, using her ill-gotten dertemination and beauty to woe the members of the society and climb up the rank to become Head Lady Shark. Using her wit, resource and harem, she have conducted massive fraud and heist, plotting to steal all of young author's dertemination to write a story all over the world), and the drive i spent for this story have never been retrieved.

Now though, with my bare hand, i have raised enough of determination to write a Fan Fic in a website dedicated for writting webnovel. Since i barely have enough (spiritual) fund to write one series though, i hereby left this series to crowdfunding. Hoping for someone, anyone, who have enough determination (and free time), and also a like-minded individual, to take this story and once again, fullfiled my lost dream of finishing it with a bright note.

(TL;DR: Basically, i'm lazy (and scared to do it, as the thought of that loan shark suddenly strike me once again leave me frozen), but i don't want this story to suddenly being halt like that. If anyone care enough to take over this story, please do so.)

Oh ho ho ho, don't worry about that. The fun part of any story is coming up with the villain's connumpence/punishment.

And I have just the thing too. Like PR, its a chain punishment, but the details vary.

You know, thinking back at ideas I had, there was this one plot idea involving Junko Enoshima.

The idea was that she would take over Elysium Academy and then trap bunch of gods into the school (alongside other mortal students). Though instead of being a repeat of The School Life of Mutual Killing, she would instead turn the school into a death maze where they need to escape from. There is a shortcut though: killing their partner. The main plot would focus on multiple groups of gods with different chemistry with each other (like one idea is between Makoto Kenzaki/Cure Sword and Solo where Makoto thinks they should work together where as Solo thinks they should go their own separate way).

There was also a sub-plot with a brainwashed Crimson Squad where Junko is trying to get them kill enough regular students to get enough blood sacrifice to power-up Orochi, and Hikage needs to try to save them. But that idea wouldn't quite work due of existence of True Orochi).

That sounds interesting. With some Adult Fear in it. A part of me want a team up for Ryuko Matoi and Xenovia since I want them to be Fire-Forged Friends. Maybe Junko would steal Senketsu.

I've been writing a tale of villainy about the Venomancer's initial encounter with Mordremoth. I am almost done with it, so I am just saying that I will probably be editing Tales of Villainy in a bit.

@Whirl: I'd imagine that Junko would take away everything she can logically take from each respective god and lock away (though just to tease them, somewhere they can still find them).

Note that the tone of the story, if it were up to me, would be bit dark but has a big grasp on optimism/idealism. While the pairs/groups would be made so that they would be in eachother's throats, none of them would be outright willing to kill one another right off the bat to end the whole game, and will ultimately evolve to some sort of Fire-Forged Friends. Or at least mutual respect (like with Solo/Makoto, where Solo admits the fact that two of them are Not So Different, and begrudgingly admit that getting help from others when you really need it is advised).

That sounds resonable. Optimistism is good.
