Original YKTTW-er here: I've been following it on my watchlist since it was launched, but I didn't realise it had got this cluttered!
It definitely needs cleaning up (the whole "list of subcultures" can probably be axed or chopped down, for a start, the list of traits also seems to have become long and full of redundancies...).

TV Tropes's No. 1 bread themed lesbian. she/her, fae/faerI think we can shift the subcultures that have their own tropes to just a bullet list of subtropes with no explanation.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickWhat about the ones that don't; Should they be removed or truncated?
TV Tropes's No. 1 bread themed lesbian. she/her, fae/faerRemoved unless someone makes a subtrope for them.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickSo, something like this?:
Should the first bullet pointed list just be zapped?
TV Tropes's No. 1 bread themed lesbian. she/her, fae/faerFor the record, with both lists replaced by a list of subtropes (and the existing description left intact), the description would look something like this:
On one end of the social spectrum, we have the Upper-Class Twit proving that money doesn't make good people. But that doesn't mean a lack of money does the same. This trope deals with the various varieties of lout, hooligan, and delinquent that appear in various media. While these stereotypes are Truth in Television to some degree, it's debatable whether the stereotype comes from Real Life, or said real life examples are imitating the stereotype. A typical Lower-Class Lout is a teenager or young adult (with the occasional Enfant Terrible) who embodies the worst stereotypes of the working class (or middle class), which can (but does not have to) include:
Because of the Unfortunate Implications the stereotypes imply, subversions are almost as common as straight examples, with a snobby or elitist character being established as such by having them accuse a sympathetic character as being one of these.
Various parts of the world have their own individual versions. Indeed, it's an interesting fact of crimino-sociology that nearly every society in the world with urban and youth culture has a certain stratum of "difficult" young people, especially men, which draw attention in popular culture.
Types of (or groups often stereotyped as) Lower Class Louts with their own article include:
- Delinquents
- Football Hooligans
- Greaser Delinquents
- Japanese Delinquents
- Juggalo
- Scooter-Riding Mod
- Skinheads
Younger examples are almost always The Bully. Because of the class-based origins of the stereotype, expect the moral of any story they appear in to lean towards Eat the Rich or Kill the Poor. Contrast the Upper-Class Twit and Aristocrats Are Evil (for when the rich are vilified) and Working-Class Hero. See also: Football Hooligans, Delinquents, Loser Protagonist.

TV Tropes's No. 1 bread themed lesbian. she/her, fae/faerMight want to omit the line about the typical example being white racially...
Good point (must have been left in there from the original YKTTW, which started off as a page specifically about "chavs").
EDIT: Removed that bit from the post above and the article itself.

TV Tropes's No. 1 bread themed lesbian. she/her, fae/faerIt looks much better.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickAlrighty, should I edit that in, then (and should the list of subtropes be set up as an index)?
TV Tropes's No. 1 bread themed lesbian. she/her, fae/faerYeah, index the subtropes. Get everything set up and we can lock this up. Good work.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickOK, done.
TV Tropes's No. 1 bread themed lesbian. she/her, fae/faerGood work! Locking.

This trope has a long description that seems to throw in too many different things. Its lack of clarity is matched by many of the examples, which when not entirely zero-context only vaguely refer to one clause or another of the convoluted description.
My suggestion would be to narrow this trope by cutting out the list of lower-class subcultures of the world: many of them have their own tropes anyway (Greaser Delinquents, Japanese Delinquents, Juggalo, Scooter-Riding Mod), and others could likely be troped.
