Exist, pursued by bearEr, sure, why not. It makes sense a hardcore fan of a person or thing would try and make themselves look as much, like some advanced cosplay. But this doesn't mean you can imagine yourself as a cyborg and use powers, you'll just look like one. I don't want people having 'permanent' powers.
Inspirational quote against powerful image of nature. Is it possible to make a Survival Horror character?
Good to be backAll are OK.
Inspirational quote against powerful image of nature.Thinking Badass Biker, maybe with a bit of Southern-Fried Genius thrown in.

Trump delenda estGenre or power? Everyone needs a defence. But that char is allowed.
Inspirational quote against powerful image of nature. The Apunkalypse okay? Or is that too close to how things actually are? I kind of see him as a weird cross between Leonard Smalls and The Engineer

Trump delenda estCurrently the state of the world here is N/A at best. Some countries are completely vaporised, nothing but smouldering ruins unfit for living, and some countries are perfect paradises, with enough imaginative people using their powers to kep things going, and helping those who prefer peace. Of course, these are at a threat of course. The world is in varying states of Apocalypse Now I guess. As for making him that sort of person, well, it might be good, but you'll have to explain why he is like that or if it was merely just him thinking 'I want to be a tough biker'. Also, how will he fight against a guy who creates a black hole, though?
Inspirational quote against powerful image of nature.- Name: Jasper
- Age: 25
- Gender: Male/Female
- Nationality: British
- Genre: Horror
- Fighting style: Jasper is a mix of a thinker and a fighter, he enjoys using mind games such as causing hallucinations and then proceeds to strike at them.
- Weapons: Jasper's main weapon is a massive seven foot cleaver which Jasper weilds with one hand despite it's weight and is able to swing with freakish speed, however other then that, it isn't special. He also enjoys summoning bizarre and disturbing creatures to attack his enemies, a combination of the Beast Master and the Berserker
- History: A life long Nightmare Fetishist, Jasper was at home when the war started, he started to enjoy scare tactics, along with sheer carnage, something that leant itself well to his chosen genre, he now just comes and goes, looking for a battle where he can do some damage.

Good to be backI'm interested. Would a Physicist who is very upset about all the laws of reality and is deciding between getting rid of the abominations and making people forget or using this opportunity to advance man kind be a character that would be accepted. He would of course use the scifi genre.
It comes. The corrupter comes. Don't let it touch the tower lest all reality crumble.I don't see why a physicist should get any more upset than anyone else. Besides, when eldritch horrors are attacking, everyone's going to be upset. Also they're such a huge threat that the beat-them-and-mind-wipe everyone strategy isn't really applicable.
Anyways, why would he want to make everyone forget? That seems pretty petty, to be honest.
Exist, pursued by bearAccepted, although maybe a bit more history please. And does the cleaver have any special powers?
Sure he can use his ability to help mankind advance. Of course, you have to remember that even if we come up with new fuel sources or something, there's still the problem of the Old Ones wreaking havoc on the earth. As for making people forget, well, why make them forget about a serious danger? I'm not rejecting your idea but it needs a bit of tweaking. Maybe he wants to build something which rejects the Gods and do a Reset Button or something.
You could do a scientist who uses his powers to develop weapons for either side, or just to defend 'innocents'.
If he wants to make his character petty or angry or whatever, that's fine. It obviously just won't be possible for him to make other player characters forget, and also I've made another point earlier in this very post.
Inspirational quote against powerful image of nature.Name: Drake Brown
Age: 32
Gender: Male
Nationality: USA
Genre: Scifi
Fighting style: sabotage
Weapons: He likes to draw weapons from scifi that usually work on the previously known laws of nature.
History: Born in what had been the state of Minnesota his family moved to Pennsylvania. After finishing high school Drake got his degree in physics from a small institute in Massachusetts. There he met the girl of his dreams and married. They had a home in Georgia, but due to work Brown was relocated to Nevada leaving his family behind for a few months and visiting when vacation time came up. He had two boys ages seven and three. Drake was a researcher that worked for a private company that developed weapons for the soldiers during the war. When the everything went to Hades in a hand basket he and a small group of friends escaped from the facility when one of the horrors attacked. The group fled with some technology and made their way towards what used to be Georgia to find Drake's family. Slowly one by one his friend fell into the eternal sleep as they encountered the new wildlife that now called this place home. Then when he finally got to his home, he found the door smashed open and a cultist sitting in his living room. There was a huge fight and when it was said and done he was the one to walk away. Though in actuality due to the only thing that had been holding him together for the last few months he sat on the couch and went into shock. Two days later the former family man left his home and went forth to leave a trail of dead cultists and eldrich abomination in his wake or die trying.
Miscellaneous: He used to be one of those arragont researchers that thought science was infallible then when everything came crashing down around him he wants to reset the world and have everyone forget that this ever happened. He is torn between the first and using the current condition of the world to further humanity.
He lists his reasons for killing the cultists as such.
1. They put him out of a job. 2. They made his job irrelevant in the world when it was supposed to be one of those jobs that doesn't go out. 3. They killed his friends, oh; and his family.
I hope this is acceptable and kinda explains what he actually wants.

It comes. The corrupter comes. Don't let it touch the tower lest all reality crumble.I like it. Sort of a man rebelling against the chaos and trying to bring back the natural order of things, body count be damned. I assume the Eldritch Abomination are the lesser types not the ones like Cthulu or Ryleh who cannot completely enter our realm. So his weapons does he just make an amalgamation of weapons which use logic to cause damage? I'm intrigued. But it's all good and accepted.
Villain now in the Original post.
Inspirational quote against powerful image of nature.I thought that his weapons would work by using the old laws of nature that used to exist and would occasionally be created by the imagined things with materials from the physical world. For example he might use a sonic device to levitate rocks or debris. He could use a camera that records what is in front of him and wear a flexible hd screen to make him invisible.
It comes. The corrupter comes. Don't let it touch the tower lest all reality crumble. So Mundane Made Awesome, powered by his imagination to defeat the chaos of the Elder Gods with Order? Or I guess sort of an inversion of Mundane Utility.

Inspirational quote against powerful image of nature.- Name: Krystina "Krissy" Morris
- Age: 21
- Gender: Female
- Nationality: English
- Genre: Clock Punk
- Fighting style: Thinker
- Weapons: A fobwatch that can briefly slow down time to gain advantage over the enemy. She also dips into Rube Goldberg type machines that rely on gears to function.
- History: The daughter of clockmakers, Krissy learnt the tricks of the trade from a very young age, making her first watch when she was 6. She continued working on clocks as a side project, until the war broke out when she was 16. She then dropped out of school and began working on more complex devices, using all the tricks she had learnt from her parents. As both her parents were away fighting, she used the family workshop as her own, working sometimes well into the night to complete her next big project. Sensing that it wasn't enough, she tapped into her imagination, and all her ideas came to life. It's then she perfected the fobwatch that could briefly slow down time, as well as the Rube Goldberg devices littered around her house. Any cultist who got in was shortly disposed of. The body count rising, and with no room to put them, Krissy took her inventions and stepped out into the world to take them on outside.
- Miscellaneous: She always wears a brown top hat with a gold band around it that has a functioning clock on it. (She winds it up when no one is watching.)
- Appearence: 5'8" with long, thick, blonde hair worn in bunches and blue/green eyes. Her clothes are always follow a gold, black, purple, brown and white colour scheme.

ಠ_ಠAccepted. I haven't worked out the details on the war as yet but it was suddenly like halfway through HOLY SHIT ELDER GODS HAVE SCREWED REALITY so I guess she just tapped into it without knowing and BAM, contraptions. I like this varied array of heroes. The technical one, the scientist, the inventor, a Genius Bruiser... awesome.
Inspirational quote against powerful image of nature.Could you please bullet-point the character profiles in the original post? It's a bit hard to read.
Exist, pursued by bearDone. Also corrected some red text.
Inspirational quote against powerful image of nature.- Name: Caroline Vash
- Age: 17
- Gender: Female
- Nationality: American
- Genre: Magical Girl
- Fighting style: Magic-assisted fighter
- Weapons: A Magical Girl's wand. It can cast a blast of green light as an attack, and has another mode that looks like a rapier. She also has a giant finishing attack, and a 'purification' attack that does wonders for psychic manipulation. She can also transform into a bright and colorful costume that despite appearances is actually quite durable and protective.
- History: A longtime fan of magical girl shows. She grew up in a small New England town and had a fairly ordinary childhood. She became an imagineer because it seemed like it was the right thing to do - though some part of her was just excited at being able to do magic.
- Miscellaneous: N/A

All still able to join.
The time is the year 2100 AD. Five years ago, as World War III broke out, the cults of the Cthulhu Mythos took advantage of the chaos and released their Gods upon the world. In the year that followed the world was ravaged and change by the terrifying might of these Cosmic Horrors. However, as the Lovecraftanites try to forge the world in their Gods' images, the rest of the world responds by utilising the most powerful force ever: Their imagination, empowered by the corruption of reality by Cthulu and his ilk.
Heroes and gadgets and weapons and even villains are drawn from the pages of the world's books and from the thoughts of mankind. Embodying the best of humankind's creativity, they go to war to turn the world back to normal, fighting the Lovecraftanites who have the boundless mind destroying powers of their masters.
<><><>
Basically you can create original characters and then let them utilise a 'genre' of books, films, etc. Combine Steampunk and alien technology to create hybrid weapons or armour, or just imagine a God (Kali, Thor, etc) striking your enemy. It won't be that easy though, as the Lovecraftanites have the ability to Mind Rape and melt brains, as well as use a lesser version. The heroes will be 80 percent creativity, 20 percent destruction, while the villains reverse the amounts, to put it roughly.
If you have some way of including neutrals, please feel free to share the ideas here. Initially, I thought they might create havens for humans who are just... still normal, or less powerful.
So, just, sign up! The genre you choose will not be restricted to just you, and it just means you must pull the majority of your stuff from books. Or maybe not, I don't know, I should get people interested. I am always open to any and all ideas!
Let's have fun people.
Name: (Obvious)
Age:
Gender: Male/Female
Nationality: (The countries have mostly been demolished but Eurasia and groups of survivors still exist. What country would they be from in modern times)
Genre: (Romance, action/adventure, mystery, steampunk, just... if it's a genre, you can use it.)
Fighting style: (Thinker, fighter, supporter, sabotager, think of some way your character fights.)
Weapons: (Do they like calling up things mostly from steampunk or prefer laser weapons.)
History: (What they were during in the beginning of the war, where they came from and why they like their chosen genre).
Miscellaneous:
It's like a crossover, but not, I guess. Or it is, but really massive. You can come up with your own 'story' which exists in the world and make your character use that, and I'm not sure yet about just taking characters directly from settings. This is the sort of RP which, I guess, either succeeds beautiful or falls spectacularly. Oh well.
I should have added a description option there now I think about it, erm, yeah but you can link a picture if you want or just describe them.
