Classic Stock Phrase suckitude.
Rename this, pronto.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanHow much misuse?
Check out my fanfiction! From Reunion Revenge:
Because I never watched Johnny Bravo, I'm not too sure about this one, but the example's wording implies that the writer confused it for She Is All Grown Up.
From TruthInTelevision.S-U:
Only one of the possibilities listed applies.

I've taken a quick scan and these look like the problem usage to me:
- Showa & Vampire
- Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (?)
- TruthInTelevision.S-U (mentioned)
- Two and a Half Men (?)
- Reunion Revenge (mentioned)
- Magic Plastic Surgery (?)
- Just Shoot Me (ZCE)
- Interstellar Detectives (?)
- Girl In My Dream (ZCE)
- Cyanide and Happiness (URL)
- Chuck
- Becker (ZCE)
- Anyone But Virginia (?)
That's up to 13, out of 45 total pages.
A related Stock Phrase would be No Doubt the Years Have Changed Me, which is the non-TG supertrope.

An Ear Worm is like a Rickroll: It is never going to give you up.Definitely needs a rename. Stock phrases make terrible names.
I just watched that episode. All the more reason to rename.

Image Source. Please update whenever an image is changed. From playing Guess That Trope Definition, I would've figured this was more along the lines of (from the Firefly episode "Trash") Mal running into an old friend and then noticing something different, not being able to figure out what it is, and then realizing the old friend shaved his beard.
+1 to rename.
Possible trope names:
Gender Bendered Reunion He'sNowAShe <-> She'sNowAHe (either is too specific, but it gets the point across.) She Was A Boy <-> He Was A Girl (same problem as before)

Image Source. Please update whenever an image is changed.@9 would be in the good range for me. @8 still looks like dialogue to me.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI guessed from the name that this was about really huge obvious changes that couldn't possibly be overlooked, such as the friend being replaced by a twelve foot horned ogre, but the speaker just can't seem to place what's different about them. So I'd vote to rename.
I support the rename.
Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight!Stat. Do we start a crowner here?
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanRight now, it's between Gender Bendered Reunion and Reunion Gender Bender. I don't really like my other suggestions, but I wanted to toss them out there because I was thinking about them.

Image Source. Please update whenever an image is changed.RGB doesn't work. In fact, neither of them really sound right....
An Ear Worm is like a Rickroll: It is never going to give you up.It's hard to describe the trope without being awkward and wordy or gender neutral. Maybe:
You Had A Sex Change?

Image Source. Please update whenever an image is changed. The problem with that is that it's not specific to reunions.
Close, but it doesn't really have a ring to it.
Gender Bender is actually another trope which it uses Applied Phlebotinum. This applies to Easy Sex Change. (There's no trope for Not So Easy Sex Change.)
How about: Reunion After Sex Change. Drops the "the" for better zippynes.
Ohh, you beat me to the edit. We were both thinking that.

Image Source. Please update whenever an image is changed.Works for me. We can also drop the 'the'.
Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight! That's the best one by miles.
Image Source. Please update whenever an image is changed.OFNG sounds the best to me.
Has my vote.
Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them.I tend to roll eyes at any "contrasting pair" trope title.
An Ear Worm is like a Rickroll: It is never going to give you up.
Crown Description:
Vote up for yes, down for no.
Yes, this trope is about meeting someone who had a sex change at a high school reunion.
But the title implies anything. Say that someone does not see someone for a long time. Then they notice that they have changed, maybe a little, maybe a lot. The problem is that the title is not specific to sex changes.
I see some misuse, particularly in one Johnny Bravo example on another trope page and partial misuse in the Truth in Television page. This article needs a title that makes it more clear that it's about sex changes.
