I stumbled across this site in late 2008 (I think) when linked here from the World of Warcraft forums. Spent a lot of time merely reading up and getting familiar with the articles before I dared to do any editing. Eventually, I discovered the troper IRC channel and moved in with the username 'Rhiow.' I was a little more abrasive than intended and got kicked out and came back a couple months later with the intent to be less of a dick. Eventually I more or less moved into #yackfest and from there I've gotten into the forums. And now you know a bunch of pointless information about why you stumbled across this page!
I'm interested in many different media and have listed some recommendations below. It's not exactly just stuff I like, it's things that I like and also think are pretty good. Personal bias creeps in, of course.
